Lady Naomi had studied the nature of the risen to better fight the undead scourge, and knew that some immoral men and women would find risen lords and volunteer themselves for the hideous transformation. The reasoning tended to be along the lines that living forever and eating whatever you want all day wasn't a terrible deal, even if sometimes what you wanted to eat was human brains. These consensual risen tended to move more like a normal living person, were more capable of rational thought than the common or garden undead, and were usually turned by the risen lord with specific tasks in mind. It looked like this risen lord probably had one very specific thing in mind; all four of its little horde were attractive women, skin only slightly greying. They were also all naked, which gave Naomi some idea of what the risen lord was doing all day. Not a bad unlife...

After the rabbit easily made its escape, they gave up and stood there, allowing her to get a better look. In order to - to assess their potential combat capabilities, of course! All five zombies (she decided to just call them Zombie #1, #2, etc, from left to right) looked pretty similar. Dark hair in various lengths and styles, a lot of piercings (not only on their faces), pouty lips, and sumptuous hourglass figures. And say what you want about that evil lich, his horde might not have quantity, but it definitely had quality! The paladin caught her own shameful thought and reprimanded herself mentally - which meant she stopped focusing on her surroundings, which meant she didn't notice the fifth zombie getting closer and closer...
