Offer to be Newton's partner!

"You still need a partner, right?" You ask. "I can be your partner! I don't want you to have to leave the school."

"Hehe!" Newton giggles excitedly. There is zero jiggle in his arms or pecs. "That's such a kind thing to offer, friend."

You run on the spot excitedly. There is significant jiggle. "Oh, awesome! This is gonna be the best. We're going to be the best Warriors of all time, and-"

"Nope!"

You stop running. But you stay on the spot. "What?"

"Nope!" Newton repeats, smiling {if Time == 11}up at you from his upside-down position.{else}down at you{endif}. "Even if the school ended up allowing that, friend, I'd graduate at the end of this year and then you'd be the one having to leave the school. Along with whichever one of your classmates misses out on a partner! So nope!"

Your shoulders sag a little. He's right, but....

"I don't want you to have to leave!" You shout.

Newton giggles again. "Well, I'm not going to take down two very promising first-years just so I can graduate. I'm just going to do my best helping out people in here until the end of the year -- maybe we'll even get lucky, and another third year will drop out. But don't feel down, friend. It's important to-"

Newton keeps talking about all the reasons to not feel down, but you've tuned out. Not to be mean! But because he's right -- the only way that he's going to graduate is if another third year drops out of the school. Then he'd partner up with their old partner, and pass the final exam. So.... maybe you can have a snoop around at the other third year students.
