Offer Gerald a deal

You, Ernie Wood and Gerald Wood eat your meal around the kitchen table in relative silence. Ernie glares openly at Gerald and Gerald sneaks glances at the cleavage visible on the blue maternity dress Ernie bought for you. You try to smile and be polite to Gerald, but even this seems to irritate Ernie.

After only a few minutes Ernie takes his plate of half eaten food and his glass and walks over to the sink. He begins to scrape the plate clean into the garbage disposal as water runs from the tap. Realizing this might be your one opportunity to speak to Gerald with any privacy you take it.

"Gerald," you whisper and lean over towards him. "Ernie told me about the deal."

"Oh yeah?" A lecherous smile spreads across his face. "Did he change his mind?"

"No, but I'm willing to work something out tonight. Once Ernie is asleep tonight, I'll come to you in the spare room and we can settle this. Fair?"

"Completely fair," Gerald says happily.

The water shuts off before the conversation can continue further. You sit up straight in your seat as Ernie returns to the table.

After dinner you watch a movie together. Some old cop movie Gerald likes. You don't recognize anybody in the movie and your mind is filled with thoughts of what might happen with Gerald later so you don't even really pay attention.

Gerald goes to bed first, brushing his teeth and disappearing into the spare bedroom. Once you are in bed with Ernie you can tell he wants to have sex, but you feign cramps. You never feign cramps normally, you love to have fun with Ernie, but as pregnant as you are you need to save all your energy for his brother.

Once Ernie's breathing becomes deep and steady, almost a snore, you feel sure he is asleep. You have one last pang of doubt as you sit up in bed. You've been faithful to Ernie for months. You know the relationship has never been about romance, but you can't help it. You feel like you're betraying Ernie and, you admit it, you want to have sex with his brother.
