Drive?
Off to the cinema
You get into the car and as you start the engine, you can't help the warm feeling in your stomach. You steal a glance at Tyrone, admiring his profile. He really is a handsome young man.
“So,” “Have you seen any good movies lately?”
“No, not really,” “Grandma and I don't get out to the cinema much.”
“Well, you'll enjoy this one,” “The reviews have been great.”
He smiled. “I'm looking forward to it,” he said sincerely.
“So, Tyrone,” “Tell me a bit about yourself. What do you like to do for fun?”
“Um, well,” he started. “I like playing basketball. And I enjoy hanging out with my friends.”
You nod, intrigued. “That's great,” “Do you play on a team?”
He nodded. “Yeah,” he said. “We play in a local league. It's a lot of fun.”
“That's fantastic,” “I bet you're very good.”
He grinned, looking a little embarrassed. “I'm okay,” he said modestly.
“Well, you must be good if you're playing in a team,”
He looks over, clearly appreciating your praise. “Thanks,” he mumbled.
As you approach a junction, you slow down and indicated to turn. As you change gear, your hand accidentally brushes against his leg. You feel a jolt of electricity at the touch and quickly pull your hand away.
“Sorry,” feeling flustered.
He looks at you in surprise. “It's okay,” he said quickly.
