Observation from afar

You live close to the college campus, so it doesn’t take long for you to get there on foot. You casually start walking to the bookstore until you realize a big problem. The people! You can’t just go pacing around the building in broad daylight, especially dressed like this. Everyone will think you’re super suspicious! O-Or that you’re a prostitute trying to stir up business… Why’d you have to pick such a revealing uniform!?

You look around and spot a tall building nearby. It should have a good view of the bookstore from the roof, so you carefully stealth through the building and up to the rooftop. You’re pretty sure you’re not allowed to be up here, but you’re a supervillain, so you’re above petty rules like those.

You monitor the building throughout the day, watching people go in and out. They walk in with money, and they walk about with bags full of overpriced pieces of paper. Soon they’ll be paying their money to you, instead of this store. The more interesting thing you notice, though, is that the roof of the bookstore also has a door on it. Normally you’d only be able to reach the door from the inside, but with your powers, you may be able to figure something out.

Night falls, and the students all skitter away one by one. They’re probably off to engage in depraved college-life activities which would disappoint their parents. Finally, the lights go off in the store. Now’s your chance.

You carefully creep up to the bookstore and confirm that no one’s there. Now it’s time to use your powers of telekinesis on yourself. Once you manage to lift yourself an inch off the ground, you know your plan will be a success. You have the power of levitation! It’s a slow ride, but you make it to the top of the building. You find the door unlocked, granting you full access to the store. A tingly rush goes down your spine as you officially walk into somewhere you’re not supposed to be for the first time in your life. The only problem is…

It’s totally dark! Where are the lights!?

You wait a second for your eyes to adjust, allowing you to vaguely see the shapes of obstacles in your way. You search around for several minutes, but to no avail. A girl with glasses isn’t exactly the right person for this job. Just when you’re starting to worry that your robbery will end in failure, a light pops up from behind you. Turning around, you see the source of the light is-

“Why, good evening, Never Mind!”

“*AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!*” you screech, breaking the stillness of the empty night.

It’s Lady Cinder, holding a flame in her hand like a makeshift torch. She’s wearing the same dress as last time, beautiful and intricate, yet showing all of her underboob. Wait, this is bad! Don’t get distracted, eyes up!
