Happy fucking birthday!!!!

The Affection Multiplier is 1 year old today, and boy have we come a long way. I personally found this site back in March of last year, lead here by a blog post looking for Mind Control erotica (my primary kink if you haven’t figured that out yet). I read through a few stories and thought that this was a fun kind of place. Good community, creative authors, very little judgement. The sort of place that I could settle in at. It had been about eight years since I’d written anything, ten years since I’d sat down to a tabletop role playing game, and fifteen years since I’d last been active on a website of any sort. Hell, I’ve done my best to obliterate my digital footprint and completely erased myself from social media. I’ve been playing the best role of my life... family man.

I found this story sometime when Fantasy was just in the early phases of writing it. Less than 30 chapters. And what I read blew me away. This was professional quality stuff that I’d only rarely found on amateur websites. I knew I had to be part of it, but damn was I rusty. So in October I wrote the first couple chapters of “I Put A Spell On You” (which I have every intention of going back to at some point... it’s a very personal tale for me).

I got my sea legs back under me. I wrote a total of 19 chapters and found my voice again as a writer. Finally in November after binge watching Leverage and White Collar I had the beginnings of a character that would be the perfect recipient of the Affection Multiplier. I noodles over it for a week or two and on November 26th I pitched the idea to Fantasy in a private message and he told me what he required. An hour later my first three chapters were written and Jimmy Nibornski was born. In December Fantasy asked me to take up editorial duties for the story, and... well... the rest is history.

Jimmy’s come a long way as a character, and this story has come a long way as a whole. 645 chapters, 50k +likes, and climbing, we’ve risen to the second spot on the top ten most liked stories in all of CHYOA (and we still only have 1/6 of the following that _The Gamer _does but I think we have better writers :), 3000+ people have favorited this story.

A while back Fantasy mentioned to me that this whole thing had gotten a lot bigger than he’d initially thought it would. He’s managed to create something that spurs the imagination to ever greater heights, and gives vent to his namesake for those of us who root for the underdog. I could neither be more proud nor honored to be a part of it.
