Background:

Nuntius was born the son of two auditors in Gehenna, and is the grandson of Belphegor. His father, Noam, is the son of Belphegor and a human woman Esmeralda Caravania, who had been offered to Belphegor as a bride to bind him to their cult.

Nuntius as a babe was sent to the island of Otium, where his grandmother, Esmeralda lived with her extended family of the Abyss. At the age of five he was sent to the Royal Nursery, to be educated in knowledge and the ways of their realm.

Nuntius was a average student, but came off more of a follower than a leader, but wanting to fill a role to help his grandfather’s kingdom. After the ceremony for his adulthood, he was offered a position in the courier service offered by the cathedral. Recently being promoted to the role of being a royal messenger, where he delivers official summons and notices for the royal family.

Personality:

Nuntius is not considered to have a strong personality, preferring instead to follow others, than to lead. He wants to please those in charge of him, particularly members of the royal family, but has enough sense of self that he will not give up his own sense of self or dignity to do so.

He has fully embraced his service to Gehenna, as a messenger.

The person he does look up to most is his grandmother, Esmeralda, who raised him till he entered the nursery. He is also in contact with his tutor from the nursery.
