Then you pull out some bling rings, chunky gold rings with diamonds which put on each finger, then some gold bangles which you put on each arms.

You are fucking DRIPPING in gold and diamonds.

It's made of chunky gold letters which spell out 'TROPHY WIFE' on a gold chain. The letters are studded with diamonds.

You goggle at how gloriously, over-the-top tacky this is. Is it real gold? you wonder. Are these real diamonds?

You heft it. It is FUCKING HEAVY. It must be real gold, then! Crap! This could be worth 10's of thousands of dollars, just for the gold alone!

And if the diamonds are real, each one must be at least a carat. Shit, this thing could easily be worth a hundred thousand dollars!

Knowing how expensive it is does something funny inside of you. It has transformed this tacky monstrosity into something you actually want to wear.

You carefully undo the gold clasp and put it around your neck, the TROPHY WIFE words now displayed prominently across your chest, in gold and diamond bling.

You reflect that this is conversion, this change of heart is something that all trophy wives have gone through. It practically defines the trophy wife. How money, expensive gifts and wealth can literally transform a tacky monster into someone you actually want to marry. But not only that!
