Now it's a Party!

As soon as the countdown hit zero, the lights opened up again to fully reveal the party room, as well as the robots bursting through the walls and upper floors, instantly the rest of the guards were on them, varous powers going off at once and attacking them as the humanoid robots were slowed down or thrown away. Just as hot head had predicted, most of the crowd scattered and ran for the doors; some cheering, some screeming at the chaos happening and clearing the room out.

You were at Jully's side in an instant as she turned to into her diamond form, pulling out some familiar gloves from her small purse and passing them to you as she kicked off her high heels and tearing her dress slightly so she could move easier.

Pulling on the gloves you recognised them, the eltectro gloves she'd give you a while back so now anything you punched would also get electrocuted, a good idea for fighting robots

"Thanks." you said to her as Lord and Lady dynamo joined the fray both flying into the room in their own suits and shooting at the robots, the **** of their shots driving them back

"Figured you might need them tonight"Jully shouted over the noise, scanning the room and keeping an eye out in case any robot got close, one had slipped through and was already charging towards the both of you.

Stepping forwards you clapped your hands together to activate the gloves, the familiar slight tingling coming from your hands as they activated. as the robot swung its clawed fist at you, you simply ducked and countered, slamming your fist into its 'face' and sending it flying backwards.

Something felt off.

You had punched and smashed a lot of things over your career as a super villain, more so than usual due to having super strength, you knew the feeling of metal bending and being crushed by your fists when you hit them. When you hit the robot you didn't get the feeling you were expecting.

Keeping watch on the robot, you saw it stand bck up, it's blank face plate wasn't even dented. Normally you'd expect at least an imprint of your fist but it was totally fine. Except when it tried to move it started to make jerky movement, its body spasming as if it couldn't control itself, and after it's second step it collapsed to the floor, smoke coming from its head and chest as small sparks started coming off its.

"We got a problem." you told Jully as you stood by her and made sure Blitz was in on the conversation as well "The metal is tough enough to take a hit from me, and i didn't give it a love tap" you said over the radio "High voltage takes them down but I dunno how long"

"was starting to think something was wrong!" Blitz shouted into your ear "Was starting to get reports these metal bastards weren't going down, they ain't that strong but they got numbers. Alright everyone you hear that! Strength ain't doing shit but these metal pussies hate electroshock therapy!"

Instantly all around you and Jully, the guards and Lord and Lady dynamo changed tactics, instead of trying to brute **** the robots each one was now using various ways and means to take them down. but it seemed that no matter how many robots were defeated, more and more just kept coming, slowly forcing everyone to seperate.

slowly more and more made their way to you and Jully, and while she wouldn't be able to hurt them even with her own punches and kicks, she had moved to the DJ set up and was messing with the laptop

"What are you doing?" you asked ehr as her fingers flew across the keyboard

"Trying to find the signal that are controlling these metal bastards, and when I do I can hack into their signal and... oh my god they're using the hotels Wifi" palming her face you couldn't tell if she was disapointed in how easy it was, or how stupid the other person had been. "Shutting down the wifi now." she sighed, the laptop already signed into use the sound system and control the lights. with a few button pressed thw wifi was shut down, and all the robots stopped trying to kill everyone, and just collapsed onto the floor

"Well... that was... surprisingly easy" you said as you kicked away the nearest robot to you, sending it flying across the room

"Oh please, that was just the opening act," Jully moved to your side and looked at the doors leading to the room. "If who I think is doing all this, they'll make a big entrance right about... now"

Right on cue, the doors to the room blew inwards, almost off their hinges as a smokescreen rolled into the room and three familiar figures stepped into the room
