Nothing will stop you this time.

You decided to go to Noldrin, and you will get there, with quite the risky plan in mind to get your friends back, a plan that you had the weeks of walking to think up, while not saying anything to Fuyu and Rei, as you knew they would be against it.

Despite the anger in you, it felt strange to come back to Noldrin now, while being wanted by the queen herself and, even though you weren't quite sure about that since you never really saw someone do it, being actively searched for around the Elder Land. But this was the best for you, since it allowed you to put your plan in motion, as you came closer to the imposing walls of the city, your hood covering your face while the two girls didn't bother covering themselves.

When you inevitably got stopped by the guards, you waited for them to speak, and it didn't take long for them to do so.

"Show us your face, newcomer." The guard on your left, with his shining armor, said. "We are searching for a traitor."

You could turn around and run now, but knowing that you were still wanted was perfect for you, as you said.

"I know who you are searching for."

And while you pulled your hood, you were persuaded that Rei and Fuyu would try to stop you, yet beside a slight concern in their face that you could see in the corner of your eyes, they seemed to have faith in you, even though your plan could seem stupid. But all of this quickly stopped mattering, as your hood was now off, and the guards quickly pointed their weapons at you and your two friends, the three of you simply lifting your hands in the air, Rei and Fuyu following your movements, to show that you were peaceful.

"Adam, you are wanted for your betrayal of the queen ! Don't resist, and you will make it alive in front of her to be judged !"

The guard's action followed their words shortly after though, since they noticed that neither you nor the girls had the intent of resisting. So after taking your weapons (making you feel a pang of sadness because they became quite precious to you), they started to lead you to the castle, which was sitting in the middle of the city as an island of order amidst the chaos of the city.

Being lead there, you had all the time to observe the people around you, all reacting in the same manner as you walked through the city : they were getting out of your and the guards' ways, their head reflecting both their curiosity and fear of you. If you were to be honest, this was so much stranger than what you were used to, that being everyone just ignoring you and your party, but you assumed that being feared was a given when you were wanted because of your strange relation with the Chaos Legion.

Eventually, you came to face the castle, in its vast glory : inside of the castle's walls, there were several towers and buildings, all designed to fit a place that no other would inside of what looked like a whole system by itself, completely independant from the city outside of those walls. And everything radiated with power, the white of the walls shining under the sun, like a symbol of purity, and... You couldn't take much more time to think, as you were pushed inside of the biggest of the buildings there, undoubtedly containing the throne room and the queen's quarters.

If the outside shone with power and purity, the inside let you take in the luxurious decoration, from red carpet to tapestry that were for sure worth a lifetime of work, it was nothing short of incredible.

Something that was even more incredible though, was that the guards led you in front of a large set of double doors, before leaving you there, like that, without saying a word, only to be replaced by... Shirayuki.

"Do you remember how vixens were taken as slaves, a while ago ?" She started by asking. "And how kitsunes like me where highly seen because of our powers ? Well, I won't make you wait any longer : The queen of these lands took me as an adviser. But do not worry, I will help you find what you are searching."
