Nothing out of the ordinary

When Ino entered the office, she noticed that the Raikage was sitting at his desk working on his paperwork. Seeing this Ino immediately walked towards his desk and stopped when she was a few steps away from it. She waited a few moments for him to acknowledge her presence and was glad when she didn’t have to wait too long.

“What do you want?” The Raikage said in a stern tone of voice. She didn’t even look up at Ino instead just focused on his paperwork. Ino felt slightly insulted by this but didn’t voice it as she was a guest in his village. Also, the Raikage was notorious for two things. The first is busting holes in walls and the other is his short temper.

Remembering this she stopped the disrespectful comment she was thinking of from coming out. Instead she just smiled and said,” I’m looking for a kunoichi of yours Lord Raikage. I believe her name was Samui?” She said with a questioning tone as to not make it look too suspicious.

This caused the Raikage to look up with a raised brow,” Why do you want to know where she is?” There was a dangerous edge to his voice almost like he was daring her to give him an answer he didn’t like.

Ino gulped before steeling herself,” I needed to ask her some questions. If that is alright with you Lord Raikage?” Ino said in a polite tone. She was slightly nervous since this was a foreign village and she was asking that village’s Kage where one of his kunoichi were. He didn’t have to answer her and could just tell her to leave.

Her thoughts were eased as after a few moments of the Raikage staring at her he said,” Very well she is in the Valley of Clouds and Lightning.” He stopped for a moment and grabbed a piece of paper and quickly wrote something down. When he was done writing he handed Ino the paper and said,” Those are directions to get there now leave.”

Ino quickly took the paper and gave a quick bow before she turned around and all but ran out the room. If she were to stay for a bit longer, she would have seen Ay pull back from his desk and seen Mabui, the Raikage’s secretary, underneath the desk with her face covered is a white substance.

When Ino made it out the office she looked down at the paper and reviewed the directions. She noticed that it would take quite a bit of time to get there. This left her with a choice to make, does she go, or does she find something to do in the village while she waits for Samui to return?
