"Sarah, I've got a surprise for you."

"Oh?" She looks happy, but she's clearly not expecting much. "What?"

You reach into your pocket and pull out car keys. "Just a little gift. Since your dad won't buy you a car, I thought I would."

Her eyes light up. "Are you kidding? No way! What kind of car could you afford?"

"Nothing much. Just a Lamborghini."

Sarah laughs. "And I suppose you took twelve part time jobs to pay for it?"

You laugh with her, but say, "I'm not kidding. Go ahead, take the keys."

A look of doubt enters her eyes as she considers that maybe you aren't joking. She carefully takes the keys from you. "It's a toy car, right? You've got it in your locker?"

"Nope, real car parked in the school parking lot."

"I'm not believing this until I see it."
