When does Sean realize what he's now capable of doing?
Not until after more serious changes have been made. [Chapter 3]
Sean plodded up the stairs to the apartment he shared with Brandy. His keys jingled in his hand as he twirled them around, his mind was still on how he could have been so stupid as to forget to start the camera. When he got to the top of the stairs, he opened the door to the second floor hallway and nearly ran into his athletic, blonde, neighbor who was on her way out for an early evening jog.
"Watch where the hell you're going you nerdy loser!" The buxom young woman made eye contact with Sean and he frowned at her in frustration, "Why don't you watch where you're going Kaylee?" Before the athletic woman could get another word out Sean chuckled maliciously, "I'll bet the only reason you still call me names like that is because you have a secret crush on me!"
He turned away from her and let the door at the top of the stairway shut behind him, having gotten the final word.
Kaylee stood there for a moment, her eyes still angry and bitchy as her mouth opened and closed incredulously. Having never been talked back to like that, she wasn't sure what to say, so she just stormed down the stairs and began her jog.
As she ran, the blonde couldn't get Sean's words out of her head. As if I'd ever have a crush on someone like him. She picked up her pace, the frustration filling up her head. She'd always hated dorky nerds like him...hadn't she? This was all that was needed. This doubt about her past created the reaction necessary to alter reality. Contemplating her history, she recalled how she had always been tutored in high school, and even in college she needed help understanding certain parts of math, science, and history.
The more she thought about it though, the more she did realize, maybe she did envy their smarts a bit. Once the thought took root in her mind, the changes followed and she began to see Sean for who he really was...her crush.
She didn't want to be crushing on him. Sure he might have had a unique look which made him stand out in a crowd, and he was certainly intelligent. I mean you don't get your own lab at school without knowing something. As she realized her crush on Sean was a secret...even to herself up until that point she stopped running, her pace having picked up to a sprint.
Resting her hands on her knees, her large, perky, breasts heaving as she caught her breath, Kaylee couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to be with Sean; date him, kiss him, give him all the proper attention a man of his intelligence deserved. Suddenly she was replaying the incident in the stairwell from twenty minutes ago and she gasped in shock at how she had acted, "Oh no!" Her heart beat in her chest as she realized he probably thought she was a stuck up bitch.
Sitting down on the nearest park bench, the confused young woman put her head in her hands, her thoughts racing. She had to find a way to apologize, and maybe admit how she felt about him...especially now that she's realized how she really, really feels about him.
She stands back up, confident with herself and what she knows she has to do, Kaylee runs all the way back to her apartment building to get ready. He'll never know what hit him. She thinks, even as her belly muscles start to twitch like she did when she first fell in love.
What's happening at Sean's apartment?
