Gaslighting Magic

In this world, your character is able to modify and change anything about someone by gaslighting them.

Gaslighting (in this story) is defined as a word or phrase specifically designed to make another person doubt themselves, their memory, or even general things about reality.

If you can make someone doubt whether or not they said something, then your version of events becomes the new history. Similarly if you make a person doubt something has happened, then your version will become reality. You could even alter bigger parts of the world all by making someone doubt things (even if it's a little bit).

For continuity's sake, there is only one person in the world capable of doing this, and no amount of gaslighting will be able to change that fact. You could, however, transfer the ability to someone, who would then be able to make changes to the world.

In this case the person will be making changes to the world as it is when they get the powers. They won't be able to know what you changed when you had the powers, but they will have their own autonomy when making their changes.
