How did the party go ?
Not the party expected
At Laura's house, Maggy noticed how well she was dressed. A long expensive dress that was going well with her curves, make up done with attention, beautiful jewellery, ...
"You could have dressed at least a little bit better than that." Laura commented.
"But, like, we don't go to a party ?" Maggy asked genuinely confused.
"Yes, an art gallery opening party."
"You totally shou'd have, like, told me ! I wou'd have dressed sorta better !"
"Well, too late now. And Gosh, you're not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I don't remember you talking that much like a moron !"
"Like... I mean, sorry... It's for a game on the phone and..."
Laura moved to the door, putting a hand on Maggy's back to make her follow outside.
"We're not 18 anymore, you know ? We don't go to parties at nightclubs or friends house, and we don't play stupid games on our phone !"
Maggy actually really felt stupid at that moment, she followed her friend to the car pitifully and sat on the passenger seat. It was so embarrassing to be scolded like this. But at the same time, Laura looked sexy in her dress and her dominant attitude turned her on quite a bit. She would probably think about it, tonight, before going to sleep.
"How's work ?" Laura asked on the way.
"I... uh... I lost my job..." Maggy admitted.
"Sigh... What did you do this time ?"
"I was just late and made few mistakes... It was so unfair..."
"It's never fair with you. It's not a complicated work ! Just focus on what you have to do a little bit ! I would hire you, but I'm not sure if you would take it seriously !"
Maggy wanted to explain that she would make money with the game, but, kept herself from doing so. Laura was already angry at her, no need to add wood to the fire. So she just nodded.
They arrived at the place and two of common friends were there, Halley and Georgia, also well dressed for a luxurious party.

Both of them didn't seem to be happy to see Maggy, and didn't hide it.
"Why did you bring that bimbo here ? She's not even dressed properly !" Halley said.
"Be nice with her girls, she just didn't think it was a art gallery party." Laura defended her.
"She never think, Laura ! Her IQ is almost room temperature !" Georgia shouted.
Maggy, was starting to get done with the animosity, so she tried her best showing what she got.
"If I was stupid, do you think I would have been able to write an article on the cultural impact of the early humans sense of warfare ?"
What she said didn't even phased the girls.
"Don't burn the few neurons you have spouting long words just to try to look smart." Halley told her.
"Oh, I saw an article about that not long ago ! I loved the emphasis on the..." A man stepped in.
He started to talk about history of mankind and the early hominids. Which would have been a fun conversation for Maggy, if she didn't have a hard time trying to understand what he was saying. But she didn't want to lose face in front of the two bitches that she called friends, so she tried to keep up, feeling every time her phone buzzing as a reminder of the malus she was getting.
Slowly the whole group walked in the building where a lot of people well dressed were already in deep conversations or enjoying paintings and sculptures. The girls went on their way, while Maggy was joined by two other guys talking about various difficult subject. Already, she was feeling dizzy and started to get an headaches, but she couldn't suddenly start to act like a dumb blonde. She needed to find an excuse to leave before she was too much in the red.
