Not so solemn farewell

Morning comes, as it always does. Today finds you alone when you wake, so you clean yourself up and come out to breakfast. Cassie and Addie are already there, as is the rest of the group. Surprisingly, no one is teasing you this morning, although there are some grins tossed your way. When you sit down to eat, Addie comes over and kisses your cheek.

You blink in surprise. “And what was that for?”

The kangaroo girl smiles and shrugs. “Ya treated me so well, 'n now you’ah leavin'. Fawr once, I’ll be sad ta see someone go.”

Alex grins. “Sad to see Nicholas go, or sad to lose his sexy bod?”

Addie blushes. “Both, if I’m true blue. It was a lot of fun, 'n if ya evah come back through here, pay me a visit!”

You nod. “We definitely will, Addie. I had fun too, of course.”

Addie nods, and retreats to her kitchen area, having said her piece. As she goes, Sarah chimes in. “I guess you’ll have to be satisfied with just us, Nicholas!”

You chuckle. “I guess so, unless you’re busy sleeping with all the other girls already.”

Cassie giggles. “Ooh, sex competition! Count me in!”

You groan. “Not what I meant…Victor, help me, please?”

The panther man laughs. “This is what you get for having a harem of sex crazy monster girls. Now you have to live with the consequences.”

Even Melora gets in on the ribbing. “Just make sure you keep your energy up, Nicholas, we’re all very needy!”

Beside you, Ferra gently takes your hand. “Don’t worry, I will protect you, Nicholas. We all know how well you satisfy me.”

You look at the golem girl and catch her slight smile. “You too, Ferra? Now I know we’ve stayed here too long, you’re picking up bad habits…”

The girls all laugh, and even Victor chuckles as he gets up from the table. “Well, as soon as everyone is ready, let’s get out in the road.”

You nod. “Good plan, get us moving early. As much fun as all this is, I’ll be glad when we’re back in the village.”

Cassie and Alex glance at each other and grin. In unison, they blurt out their thoughts.
