Not so silent night

While the girls are busy getting new outfits, I finished dinner and called them over for it. “What is this anyways, I don’t think I’ve had this before,” Iris says, with the smell chipotle peppers and green chilis wafting through the air.

“It’s posole, it’s a Mexican dish between a stew and a soup,” I say, taking bowls out of the cabinets for them. “Just don’t wait on it to get cold before trying it.”

For the most part, dinner seemed to well from here. Iris and Tamaki even get seconds. At least, that’s what I thought would happen.

“You know we never asked what your name was,” Iris says, cutting the silence. “Kevin Coil, a mid level manager in an oil company. Sorry that I didn’t introduce myself earlier, nor ask what your names were.”

“You seem to be well aware who we are! You have way too many pictures of us, like some kind of stalker!” My face almost pales from Tamaki’s statement, but I quickly shake it off and pull out my phone to pull her up on google. “This should at least clear up half of it.”

“I highly-wait why do I have my own wiki and fanart like I’m some kind of anime waifu?!” I sigh and take gulp from the glass of whiskey I have next to my bowl. “That wouldn’t be far from the truth, or at least a version of you is,” I then look to Iris, “Actually, a lot of the same goes for you just in less accidental ways. The special fire forces here are in a manga and anime, centered around your company I particular. However, I have seen where the manga ends and I have a hunch the timeline spilts there,” I explain to the shocked duo in front of me.

They a driven to a thoughtful silence, not know how to think about that. Eventually, Iris does speak, “If what you say is true, that still doesn’t fully explain why you looked at these things.” “I just think your both beautiful girls is all, if that wasn’t already apparent,” I confess.

“Well I’m done, I’m gonna put the leftovers in the fridge,” as I got up to put away the food. “You can just say that and walk away!” Tamaki says as she runs up and grabs my shoulder, turning me around violently. “You’ve got a lot of explaining to-” Tamaki is suddenly and accidentally interrupted by being being turned around so violently that I ended up colliding with her.

I end up falling onto her and our lips collide once we hit the floor. I immediately pull away, “Sorry I didn’t mean to-” I try to tell her before being pulled back down to her lips for a searing kiss, her tongue frantically pushed into my mouth. My head started to feel fuzzy from the sudden change in her. After what felt like an eternity, she pushes me off of her and to the side.

After a few second of trying to catch my breath I look over to her still blushing and breathing heavily, “Where did that come from, Tamaki?” She pouts and looks away from me, “I wanted to make sure I won’t be forgotten cause of the other girls I saw on your computer.”

“I can promise to that much, Tamaki. How long were in that dark place anyways?”

“It’s hard to say, I was sure I died back there,” Iris said leaning over us, “It could be anywhere between a few minutes to a few years.”

“Three years, eight months,”

“Who said that?” I question as I quickly get up off the floor. “I did! I’m getting bored though so can you open this what I think is a door, it’s hard to even tell where I am. The smell though! Oh that made it so easy to find!”

Tamaki start activating her abilities “I know that voice!” “Is that you Inca? We don’t have a reason to fight anymore, we aren’t even in the same world anymore,” Iris pleads. “Oh I already tasted what sweet **** is like, and it was disappointing.”

I look to both girls to gauge if they are ok with even letting her in. Tamaki powered down, and nodded at me her approval but still seem a bit wary. “So you have a different drive in life then? What would that be?” I question her as I open the door for her enter. “I’d love to tell you!”
