Daisy stares at the woman in front of her, slightly slack-jawed. The woman's mouth meets hers, and Daisy relaxes slightly into the kiss. It feels good...if oddly cold and...rubbery? She barely registers the woman's hands snaking down her body, too focused on the tongue that the woman is pushing eagerly into her mouth. Daisy welcomes the intrusion, wrapping her own tongue around it. And it feels...wrong?

The woman’s tongue explodes inside her mouth, muscular, thin tendrils racing down her throat, and Daisy screams as her throat and chest explode in pain.

Ali emerges from the bar and looks around, frowning. She thought this door led to the back alley, but it looks like she’s actually come out on the side. And there’s no sign of Daisy…

Just then, she hears a muffled noise. It sounds like…a scream? Heart pounding, she follows it. “Daisy?! Is that you??” When she doesn’t get a response, she breaks into a run.

As she wheels around a corner, she recoils in horror. Daisy is there, standing stock-still, lips locked on the mouth of a tan-skinned woman. That…that looks like the lady that died, Ali realizes, a chill running down her spine. But something is wrong. The strange woman’s hair is writhing around her head like snakes, reaching for Daisy, and Ali can see thin white tendrils snaking out of the woman’s fingertips as her hands run over Daisy’s torso, reaching lower as they quest for—NO.

“Hey! Get off her!!” Ali yells. She yanks her 9 mm gun out of the back of her jeans and fires at the woman.
