Not quite

Night descended on the forest much faster than Silvia and Hilda expected. As it turns out, taking five minute breaks after climbing each individual branch didn't let them climb very fast. Both women ended up sprawled out on different branches about one-third of their way up the tree, chests heaving with their ragged breathing, too tired to move any further. Silvia lay on her stomach, arms limply hanging in the air, while Hilda had her back pressed against the tree trunk as she straddled another skinny branch just barely big enough to support her weight.

"I can't go any farther." Silvia gasped, gesturing weakly with her arm as if to prove her point. "And it's too dark to see anything anyway."

"I thought dark elves could see in the dark." Hilda asked.

"Only if it's underdarkness. Overdarkness is too blurry and weird." Silvia rolled over on her back, showing her nipples to the sky. "Besides, I'm no good at it without magic, anyway."

Hilda wiped sweat off her brow. "Well, I guess we're stuck up here, then. I'm too tired to climb up or down." Hilda looked below her and realized how high up they were, but she thought it would be better not to mention that she was too scared to climb down, anyway.

"Do we have to sleep up here?!" Silvia whined. "But it's so cold!" She was right, and the shrill whistle of the wind cruelly reminded both naked women just how naked they were.

"We, uh.." Hilda tried to think of a solution, but only one came to mind.
