Not far

You walk down the street looking at the people traveling down the street and looking at the buildings that you are passing as you go. Not far down the street you see a sign up ahead that is an arrow that points to the left to a building, and it says guild.

As you stand in front of the adventurer's guild. From the outside the adventurer's guild looks very grandiose. It has been built with grey stones and has tan brick decorations. Tall, wide windows let in plenty of light and have been added to the guild in a very asymmetric way. The roof is high and slanted to one side and is covered with brown roof tiles. Two large chimneys sit at the side of the guild. Several long, thin windows let in plenty of light to the rooms below the roof. The building is shaped like a short U. The two extensions extend into glass overhanging panels to each side. The doors to the building are big and wide, probably standing at least ten feet tall and each door looks to be four feet wide. When both are open it has a huge opening for anyone of any size to get inside.

You stand in awe at how big the building is and how it is more than likely bigger than almost all of the buildings in your hometown. As you walk up the path to the doors you see that one side of the doors is wide open and the closer you get you can hear that is it a little loud inside the guild. On your right as you walk towards the building is a dark brown gazebo building with a few benches under its roof and a couple of people sitting there relaxing and looking at a map. Probably planning their next move. You walk up the five steps of the building onto the porch like structure on the front of the building. Still in awe of the building you do not see someone coming up behind you faster than you are moving. The next thing you know you are getting bumped. Before you can say anything, you hear a loud deep voice say something to you.

"Move out of the way little man." the deep voice barks at you. Before he walks into the building. He was huge, twice your size, wearing dark almost black armor with a full-face covering head piece, with an equally huge shield on his back and a sword that is almost as tall as you on his side.
