Not The Goddess You Expected...

Near a country road outside a city, a lightning bolt struck the ground, a feminine figure raising to her feet as she straightened out her with toga. This was none other than The Goddess Athena, sent to Modern Day Earth for a vacation after requesting some time off.

At least, that's what she told herself.

The truth was, Athena had gotten into an argument with Aphrodite, the latter claiming that beauty triumphed over brains any day while throwing in a jab at the formers more muscular looks. Athena wanted to take a blade and send her to informally meet Hades and his bride, but realized that that was an unwinnable battle do to the both of them being immortal.

Instead, The Goddess of Wisdom put up a wager against The Goddess of Love and Lust, betting that she could do with her brains what Aphrodite couldn't with her beauty alone: Bed one million mortal men in the span of three months.

Not one to have her beauty insulted, Aphrodite took the bet, claiming that the loser would be stripped of their godhood (and clothes) for three mortal years, living among the mortals as one of them.

Athena feared being defeated more than anything, and most certainly did not like the implications if she lost. However, if it meant wiping the smug smirk off Aphrodite's face...

Before the two goddesses shook hands, they both agreed to lay down some rules:

I. It must be consentual.

II. The men must be single; no men who are married or in a relationship with another woman. Divorced men constituted as cheating.

III. Aphrodite was not allowed to interfere, nor ask another god/goddess to interfere on her behalf (The goddess in question scowled as Athena was quick to add that rule, but agreed to it nonetheless).

IV. Athena must have a spell of infertility cast upon her so as not to create an army of demigods/demigoddesses.

And so, borrowing an old dress from her sister Artemis, Athena was sent to Earth under the pretense of a much needed vacation. The Goddess of Wisdom walked along the country road, devising a plan of how to win this bet.

As the goddess walked along, she paused as she passed what she thought was an empty park before seeing the first mortal man on her quest. The man in question was a chubby eighteen year old, dressed in a baggy hoodie and jeans as he worked on a crossword puzzle.

Athena leaned against a tree as she watched the young man, her mind developing several strategies on how to start her quest and use her brain to bed this mortal...
