"We could try and use Goma's hide..." Cherchiel suggests and Goma hesitates before beginning to strip off the hide.

Yulia stops her, "I think for now... the..." she hesitates, "doesn't feel right calling it the mean voice anymore, but anyway I think they're right. We should retreat for now. We can probably get help from a dwarf miner to get some for us, maybe?" Yulia suggests and Li speaks again.

"Indeed, I'm sure if you ensure they have safe passage into the crater any dwarf would be thrilled at the opportunity to mine coldrock... I'd do it if I had the tools honestly... and if my boss wouldn't literally suck the life out of me for breaking the rules," they answer.

Yulia stares at Li for a few moments and then sighs, "alright... let's head back to Aresque for some rest..." she says and the three women, exit the tunnel and begin the arduous ascent up the stairs out of the crater. Luckily nothing assaults them on the way up this time.

They exit into the deep mines and immediately they see Dwarves fleeing and hear screaming. Moving forward they soon see the cause. A group of Dwarf guards are encircling a figure. The figure is holding up a dwarf miner by the throat with one hand while it's other hand is using a pickaxe to keep the guards away. It's Knocker and as Yulia and the others watch, Knocker stabs the pickaxe into the skull of a Guard who gets too close as at the same time, their claws sink into the throat of the miner, cutting off their screams and replacing them with choked noises before Knocker tosses the now dying miner at the guards and then leaps on one of the guards as the rest are knocked away by the body. Knocker bites the guard's face tearing out chunks of flesh as it's clawed hands stab through the guard's armor and into their chest. The rest of the guards get back up by now and rush Knocker who leaps off of the dying guard and away from the guards as they continue to try and harry him. He seems to retreat from the guards, but as he does so, a horrifying, inhuman giggling erupts from him as his head turns spotting Yulia and the others.
