The origins of the earrings are not fully known. They were found in some ruins in South America. The ruins they were discovered in worshiped an unremarkable goddess. It was unclear to the archaeologists on what the goddess was for. All they knew was it was a common statue of a goddess.

Due to the ruins seemingly being so normal they weren't studied much. Due to some reason the scientist never saw the truth of the ruins. Eventually they were forgotten about completely.

The ruins itself was a large mural. It was an amalgamation of many different cultures such as viking, chinese, native american, and spanish. It told multiple stories of man being gifted a power and doing many things with it. It always ended though with the person's ****.
