Nope, people enjoyed the quietness.

At one end of the small village just past the last house stood an apple tree. It was planted there by Erga and her parents when she was but a toddler and since she and the tree practically grew up together, it was her favorite spot in the village. She didn’t really get along with other kids in the village because of her mother being the ex-alpha and everyone knows how kids can be when elders see others as a disgrace or outcast.

Everything lessened when the kids grew older and there was even some kind of truce between her and the other kids. She didn’t really understand what was the cause of them ceasing the hostilities against her and sometimes even tried to get along with her, but it started around the time her breasts started to form and her menstrual cycle began. What was fine with her, cause this made them leave her in peace.

Sweet, silent peace and quietness, just like now, as she leaned back against “her” tree, looking up at the apple blossom starting to form. She stretched her arms and legs, hoping to see the fruits the tree would bare soon, so she could make the most delicious treats with them. Her mouth started to water at the thought of it. “It has been way too long.” she grinned. “I knew you would be here. At your famous apple tree.” she suddenly heard a familiar voice say.
