After Sarah left the barn Kate didn't know what to do, should i try to comfort her or would giving her some space be the better option, as she was thinking Lara suddenly started writing on the ground with her hoof it read "it wasn't your fault i would have done the same", looking up at her Kate could see Lara was avoiding eye contact, taking that meant she wanted some space Kate left the barn to start her mission to turn Lara back to being human.

Looking at the pastures fence during the next mornings grazing time Lara was for the first time thankful for her increased body mass which by now was what she estimated to be about sixty percent of what a full cow would weigh so if she applied all her weight to the fence post between the planks it should give way, with her mind settled on that plan all she has to do is wait for the right time to escape, this afternoon's grazing just after being let out should give her the longest period of time before anyone realizes she missing, i would like to bring mom with me but i don't have time to fill her in and if i put this off once i might do it again and again and again so it has to be now before i lose my nerve she thought.

Sneaking back into the lab Kate could see Vanessa working on something near the back next to a door which she assumed was the place the other kidnapped girl might still be being held, Kate watched her carefully and after a little while Vanessa started filling syringes with a green liquid she had been working on, grabbing one then picking up a small vile of what looked like milk from a small fridge she went into the back room, Kate assumed Vanessa was going to transform the second girl like they had the first and that the syringe must be filled with the fast transformation formula and the vile some of Lara's milk, deciding this was the best chance she was going to get she carefully picked up a syringe from the desk between her teeth then quickly made her way to the barn and hid it at the back of Lara's stall under some hay, now all she needed was something that had Lara's original DNA on it and she could restore her.

Kate spent the last few hours looking for any of the stuff they had brought with them when they came here but there seemed to be no personal belongings left, damn Sarah must have gotten rid of it so there would be no evidence of our disappearance Kate thought as she now sat looking at the three blankets hanging on the wall in the barn, one of these was most likely the blanket i wrapped Lara in when i brought her here and it was originally the blanket we used to have family picnic's on before all this so it stands to reason the hairs on it should belong to one of us three but that means the odds of picking the right hair is very low given i have to pick the right blanket first, with no other choice Kate picked a hair and went back to Lara's stall and got ready to inject her when she came back in from grazing but about ten minutes before Kate was suppose to herd the cows in she could hear shouting coming from the field saying Lara had escaped, cursing Lara's timing and feeling a bit hurt she left without her she saw this as a one time chance to change herself back to being human and escape while everyone is distracted looking for Lara so she injected herself with the syringe by sliding it on the ground until it hit the side of her paw then after pushing on the other side she quickly swallowed the hair she had collected. , i really hope this works Kate thought just as a pain rippled through her body.
