Chapter 6

What other creature will get to creampie our halfbreed?
None, at least the very next day
Cassa woke up to the smell of a healthy breakfast. After eating together with her host she said her goodbyes, then took of, in the woods again. While she was aware Daloth would find her and take her backwith or without her consent (not that she would complain about anything her master had in mind) she wanted to explore a bit more, hoping to find at least a clue to her memories.
She walked for a good part of the morning when her fine ears picked up something big rushing through the coppice. Seconds later a knight in full plate shot past her, blood oozing from the plate. Right after him came a demon, a pit fiend, rushing into the blade of his adversary. Cassa had no time to dawdle though, because behind the first of the monsters a second one appeared, changing its course and charging what it thought would be either a feast or a fucktoy.
Cassa concentrated and let her magic flow, usingthe only spell she remembered by now, a charm incantation. To her surprise the fiend fell under her command, but the sideeffect of her magic kicked in, filling the monster with unnatural lust, its cock growing in size.
"Kill the other demon!" she commanded quickly, hoping to even the odds a bit.
It took the monster a mere moment to bridge the gab between itself and its new target, tearing through his former comrade and starting to fuck the beast in heat.
The knight didn't lose a beat, beheading the foul beast with a strike of his sowrd, ladden with divine energy. Both corpses were charred into smoldering heaps, before the armored figure fell to the forest floor and Cassa rushed to his side.
"That was dangerous, Sir knight.", she said, trying to aid him. Holy magic spilled from his hand but his spell failed and he grunted.
"No what you did is far more."
Cassa urged him to rest a bit ahead, cursing her own inability to remember any healing spells. Then the knight placed a hand on her head. "No, maybe you can."
A surge of energy ran through her, and with it the knowledge of the cure spell returned.
"Good. But don't blame me for possible side effects of my magic!", Cassa said, casting the spell on the wounded knight. It stopped the bleeding if nothing more.
"Thank you, lass." the knight said, resting his head against a tree.
Cassa was at a loss of words.
"Thank you... for... finishing of the fiends? How did you come across them?" A weird conversation was better than awkward conversation.
“It is my duty to smite the fiends and demons of hell.” He answered in a serious tone.
And... what will you do now?
"I'll rest, then seek out more evil creatures to smite. As is my duty."
Cassa hoped that dragons didn'T count as evil, but thought it better not to ask. "Ah well, i wish you best of luck with that...."
She rested a bit herself, before parting ways with the knight.
When the sun was in the zenith, Cassa had her next encounter. A deer crossed her path, fleeing from something. A moment later an arrow hit a tree next to the halfbreed and a woman clad in leather ran out from a bush. "Damnit!"
Cassa had her shiled up in reflex and looked at the huntress. "Woah! Careful with that."
The other woman mustered her: "The fuck are you?"
Cassa sighed internally. It seemed everyone was asking the same question. "A minotaur. And who are you?"
The woman grunted. "Someone whose dinner got away." She turned tostomr of, but Cassa replied.
"Not my fault." She followed the huntress, hoping to either be of help even though Cassa herself was vegetarian. She was also curious.
It didn't take long before the huntress turned to her again. “Ah hell why are you following me. Your gonna scare away all the animals."
"How long have you traveled these woods? Just one or two questions and i am out of your hair. Or i could help you hunt." Cassa already thought about her options, and something she thought she remembered came to mind.
“Been in this forest awhile. No you cannot help me hunt when you can’t even walk quietly. And now my dinner has kindly left. Damn guess it is rabbits again."
"Hm... if you find its trail i might be able to lure it out." Cassa had said she was a minotaur, but she knew that some forest creatures where drawn to unicorn smell, and right now she could produce that smell whenever she wanted.
“Lure it with what? A hope and a prayer. Only things that lure deer are oats and calls. Can’t do a call because it would bring more trouble than deer. For the other way I don’t see any farms do you?” snapped the other woman at her. Cassa grinned.
"i might have something that smells natural and enticing enough to lure it. We don't lose anything trying"
The leatherclad woman sighed. “Your insane. But like you said.” She hid closeby, motioning Cassa to turn her plan into fruition.
Cassa proceeded to milk her tits, splattering the tasty milk on the ground in the hopes that this would actually work. She was sure something would come for the smell, she was hoping it was something to hunt.
It took a while but the deer came back. With it was a small herd, the leader a massive white buck with a golden pendant. Unsure about everything Cassa waited. The huntress did not and let loose two arrows, shooting two of the animals. The leader roared but both females had hidden themselves well, and the herd fled, leaving the two hunters with more than they had initially hoped for. Cassa snuck to the huntress: "Happy now?"
“Seeing a spirit deer. Yeah you can say that. Also bagging two 10 point bucks is a dream.” she answered, smiling briefly before she built a sled to drag both animals back to camp. "You can come with to my camp. I'll make dinner."
Cassa nodded. "Thanks. But i am vegetarian. I don't eat meat."
It didn't take them long to come to the camp. “Just to let you know. I’m not the only one at the camp. There are five of us. One is an elf like I said, he tends to be our forager and guard. There is me a human, my mother and father, and lastly a catman." Cassa took a look around, sure enough she saw the elf who tried to sneak up on them. She shuddered internally. "Hey! I can see you."
“Damn almost got her.” he said, standing up and chuckling. The greeted each other and pulled the stags back into camp. While Kindrel, the elf started to gut the stags, Holly, the huntress began to interact with the catman, while the other two of them were still out hunting. Cassa hovered at the edge of the camp, something about it mad her feel uncomfortable. After a while she was joined by the elf.
"Do you have plant based food as well?" she asked, still somewhat on guard. "
He nodded: "yes we do, elves tend to eat more plant based diet. By the way, what race are you?" There it was again. "I'm a half breed minotaur." She hoped the short answer would suffice, but the elf had to ask. “That is interesting, I’m going to assume the other half is a unicorn based off the horn.”
He stretched out his hand, but CAssa tilted her head aside, unwilling to let someone touch her without her consent. "Yes, but please don't touch it without my permission." Since when was she so defensive about herself? She couldn't remember having a problem with being touched.... Was it still Daloth influence? Or something else?
Kindrel apologize,d trying to laugh the awkwardness away. Cassa felt uncomfortable. "Hmm. Maybe you should start preparing the fire?" Hopefully he'd get the hint.
Instead he motioned to the catman and Holly who teased each other: “They will get it. Tell me about yourself in the meantime.” He really was a dense fellow.
"There's not much to say. Not much i remember anyhow. I woke up in the forest not too long ago. I dealt with a few things since then. Found some useful gear. Met a few interesting individuals. I am trying to find a way out or at least my memories back." Cassa reached out into the ring, sensing her master. It was more a reflex than anything else and she quickly stopped, trying to think of something else. She hoped the elf wouldn't make any advances.
“Ah shit guess I am on fire duty as well.” he muttered, before walking of.
'Finally'. Cassa pondered for a moment, then waved Holly who came over after giving the catman a slap on the ass. "What's up?"
"Hmm. What's with your elven friend, Kindrel? He is a rather nosy one. How long do you know him?"
“All my life. He has been here longer than my parents. He just like to know people. I think he has no knowledge outside of this forest.” she answered, a drop of sadness in her vocie for some reason.
"Don't get me wrong, but i think after some food i'll be on m way. I might be more trouble for you than good." Holly looked relieved, hearing that.
“Ok at least we can have our nightly fun.” she answered before returning to Pentel. Cassa reflected. Had she heard that right? Maybe it was better to slip away unnoticed, before the others came back. She felt more uneasy with each passing minute. When noone looked she retreated between the trees and left the camp behind.
While wandering off her focus was on the camp behind her, she hoped nobody would follow her. That was a mistake, as suddenly a creature broke through the underbrush, barking at her from another angle. It's body was pitch black, only its eyes glowed red, hungry for the flesh in front of it.
Cassa's instinct was to charm the creature, but her spell had no effect. The thing, lunged at her and she barely managed to throw up her shield, blocking its fangs.
Her hasty counter had no effect, the hellhound simply sidestepped her before tearing into her arm faster than she could react. Cassa was no stranger to pain, having given brith jsut recently and shrugged it off. While she still tried to get the creature off of her, an arrow came from the woods, striking the creatures flank. Then Kindrel emerged from the shadows, a spear in hand. “Get off of her you foul beast!”
The hound let go of Cassa'S arm, jumping at the elf. His jaws closed, Casa could hear something break, but the elf had quickly doffed his vambraces, that tore apart between the creatures fangs. Casas stepped towards it, sinking her knife into its back but her unskilled stab did mostly cosmetic damage to it. The creature turned, biting her again. She could feel the fans sink into her flesh, blood splattering. Kindrel stabbed the creature and with concerted effort they managed to kill the murderous creature.
Cassa panted. "That was close."
“You stupid girl! Don’t you know how dangerous the forest is at this time? Your lucky I found you!” Kindrel chided her.
Cassa thought. She didn't want to tell she tried to leave. "I just wanted to forage some food. I didn't mean to wander of that far."
“We had enough food for everyone. If you needed to relive yourself you could have just told be instead of slinking off. What would have happened if I didn’t find you or not noticed you were gone?” He was still unhappy, and Cassa wondered if she had misunderstood their intentions before.
"Sorry. How was i suppose to know there'd be a hellhound so close to a camp."
He sighed. “That’s the problem, you don’t. We just treat everything is just outside of camp.” He finished her treatment. “There, we need to get you to camp. How do you want my to carry you?”
"I can walk. It's not that bad." suddenly she felt defensive again. The elf was maybe two thirds her weight. She stood up, walking slowly in the direction of the camp, but the elf stepped in front of her. “Have you seen yourself? Your arm was nearly ripped off and you have a major wound on your side. No you are not walking.”
"Why are you so hellbent on getting on my good side? We just met."
“Good side, bad side, doesn’t matter here! I’m worried about your survival!” he answered, failing to fully reign in his tone.
"Fine. Help me back to the camp."
“Thank you.” He sighed showing his back to climb on. “Get on unless you want a bridal carry.” Cassa held onto his back, until they were back in the shine of the fire.
Hollies parents had shown up in the meantime, and the sun set. They looked at the disparate duo. "Kindrel, what happened?"
“Cassa here got attacked by a Hell hound. It is dead, felled by our hands. She did the final blow.” he explained, sitting her down by the fire. They decided to get the cadaver and the men walked of.
Cassa resigned. She wouldn't go anywhere. "What did you mean by nightly fun earlier?" she aksed Holly.
The woman looked flustered: “We have a bit of an orgy every few nights. This was one of those. We would have postponed it for you. Didn’t want to make it awkward.”
So that was it.... "Ah. I got the impression Kindrel pictured me joining in....." Cassa tried to gauge their intention.
“No he is just a nice guy."
They bantered for a while until the others came back with the remains of the beast. They ate and finally they all went to sleep, the older couple in their tent, the woman in their and the men in theirs. While Cassa slept, everyone took a short watch. In the morning Kindrel came up to Cassa. He gave her a set of vambraces, a spare part he no longer needed since he could make a pair of the hellhound leather they had started to harvest.
"Thank you. I wish you all best of luck." and with that, Cassa left.
What else will try to get the best of the unitauran woman?
