Nomination Season

Richard stepped through the doorway and was… back in the auditorium. Genet was seated on stage as he came out, and immediately began speaking to the audience.

“That ends the entries within Domestic Affairs Edition’s second challenge of the season. I hope everyone both had fun and felt like they could put their best foot forward. If you’d like to sit down for a moment, Richard, I’ve got a few more things to say before we can move on to the second stage of the evening.”

Dick gave a hesitant nod as he went to the stairs on the side of the stage. Genet had decided to have her own costume change during the challenge, getting back the blazer from her ‘Genet Grant’ persona and putting on a red director’s beret that matched her favorite dress. A bouquet of roses was in her hands.

He got off the stage and looked around. Hel on Hazel’s lap, watching him as he decided where to sit. He briefly made eye contact with Stella and she immediately looked away in embarrassment as her hair blossomed. Felicia smirked and Ava waved as he saw them, and Hazel-

As he got closer he realized Hazel was nearly nude. The only thing he saw on the top half of her body were a pair of black latex sleeves, protecting arms and hands that were wrapped around his stepsister. The only thing he could see below her waist was Hel, who was doing her best to protect her girlfriend’s modesty.

He sat down next to Luna in the second row and let the host continue.

“To transition, I’d like to run through our itinerary for the rest of the evening. First, you’ll be giving your judgement on each contestant’s performance in the challenge. I’ll give our viewers at home a quick review of what these contestants decided to do, including:

Genet waited for the clip montage to finish before speaking again. “Luna, of course, featured in all of these to varying degrees. After the judging period ends I will display the new transformation ballot that my advisors and I have developed and open voting for those third round transformations. I hope that their recipients enjoy their support and guidance as much as I’m sure you and I will.

“While that transformation poll is running, I will have a small Q&A session with the full cast of Domestic Affairs Edition in place of the fan mail that we had last round. Genet looked more serious as she stood up, leaving the bouquet on her seat. She wandered to the middle of the stage. “Now, I’d like to explain how our audience members at home are intended to vote. The maximum score for the challenge that each contestant may earn is twenty-five. Ten comes from how much you as a viewer enjoyed their participation in the challenge. The other fifteen is split into three chunks, based on how well you think they incorporated the three themes of their paths, sort of like how in a cooking show contestants might be asked to incorporate specific ingredients. Some contestants' achievements may be spread across multiple scenes. For example, during the last commercial break Felicia asked that I remind the audience to consider the scene before hers when deciding how to score her own results.

“One thing that I’d like to remind you all out there is that this is not a ranking. If you decide to score Hazel or Ava a ten out of ten on their performance, you are not then obligated to give a nine out of ten to your next favorite scene. Score each of them purely on their own successes or failures. My staff and I will collate everyone’s answers to decide the winner, simply answer as you feel is appropriate.
