I slowly come to consciousness, shaking off the weariness. I stretch and yawn out the kinks in my body before I open my eyes.

When I do, I see I'm not in my bedroom, or even my house. Instead, I'm in the middle of nowhere and just about to start cussing when the purple dude appeared.

"Why hello my new friend! My name is Fu, and boy do I give good gifts!" He exclaims excitedly.

I blinked and decided to just go with the flow.

"Ok, but can I ask where we are and why you brought me here?"

"Sure ya can! Doesn't mean I'll answer." He replied with a laugh that got me to smile a bit.

Calming down, Fu started explaining. "Anyways, Noel my friend, I have a habit of... causing trouble in areas. No, I'm not evil and killing people. I just cause a little trouble in the timelines for a group called time patrollers. The chaos, through a process, gives me energy to use and study. Meanwhile, everything goes back to normal sooner or later whether by natural means or the patrol interfering."

I nodded along. I'm not the brightest, but if he is telling the truth, thats not so bad. "Ok, so how do I play into this? I'm fairly certain I'm a nobody at best. "

"Well, you're going to be my source of chaos this time. Ya see, awhile back I created these things call the Normality earrings. They make others perceive everything about the wearer as normal. They also give the wearer control over what others perceive as normal." He explains.

I just stare at him for a moment, shocked that he made something so seemingly powerful.

He nods to my silence. "Yeah, I am pretty brilliant. Best part is there is a very short list of being not affected by the things. Even Goku and Vegeta won't realize what's going on."

I remember those names. Those are those alien hero guys from the Cell Games and the Majin Buu conflict along with Mr. Satan. I think one is married to that sexy Bulma Briefs woman currently?

Fu interrupts my thoughts. "Anyways, I wanted you to take the earrings and do whatever you want. Or in your case my perverted friend, whoever you want. Eh, eh? *wink wink* *nudge nudge*"

I probably should have been embarrassed that he knew about my perverted nature, but the thought of railing that fine piece of millionaire ass just made me excited.

"Alright, I like the sound of this. But is there anything I should know?" I say, not taking any chances of being left without vital info.

The earring that alters perception of what's normal can also alter reality to an extent such as changing someone's normal gender, changing their normal species, or changing someone's normal...sizes. But I wouldn't overuse that feature too much. You may overtax the power and find things around you not as normal as they were before, if ya know what I mean?"

"Anyways that's about it. Here are your handy, dandy earrings." Fu hands me two gold, N shape earrings. I clip them on and don't feel any different, but should I? "And now, I bid you goodbye. And don't worry about being in the middle of nowhere, your 'ride' will be here soon." He said with a mischievous grin, disappearing in a flash.

I have to wonder what that meant, when I hear a car coming closer. I see it and a woman with dark blue hair is driving. I wave her down and she stops.

"Hey, I'm Noel. Sorry to stop you, but I'm kinda stuck in the middle of nowhere here. Could you give me a ride?" I ask with what I hope is a charming grin.

The girls smiles innocently back. "My name is Launch, and sure, I can drive you to the city."
