Noah end of exploration

(Sophia POV)

Once she'd left Victoria to fend for herself against turning into an iceberg, Sophia flew north. It was only an hour later, however, that Sophia had to face the facts: she'd never find a single statuette by flying.

Disappointed, she landed without conviction, aware that she had wasted precious time. And if there was one thing that annoyed the prosecutor, it was wasting time. Lacking any other idea, she began to move in a random direction.

She hated it, moving forward without a plan, not having the slightest idea of what was going to happen. Yes, the unknown, humanity's most universal fear, and she still felt it. She who had done everything to make her life organized and, above all, predictable.

She sighed. In a way, it was inevitable. She had realized that it was impossible to control everything. Change was one of the only immutable constants in the universe. She knew this, but it didn't make the situation any less frustrating.

It was only after an hour that she finally stumbled across a statuette. It appeared to depict a species of bird of prey, but Sophia couldn't be expected to be more precise than that. She had studied law, not biology.

She continued searching for several hours and came across several more statuettes before a flash of light ended her exploration and brought her back to the other candidates.

(Sophia POV)

It took her a few moments to rebalance herself after the **** teleportation, but Sophia was proud to see that she was one of the few who had managed to stay on her feet.

“And this first test is over! Let's find out together how many statuettes our candidates have recovered. Did they manage to explore their entire zone? Did they save the majority of species? Did they keep the audience interested? Let's find out together, because here are the results”, announced Nola, before a large screen appeared with the ranking.

Sophia couldn't help but feel disappointed when she saw this ranking. Sure, she knew she hadn't been brilliant, but had she done that badly? However, she had to admit it was pretty impressive of Violet to have managed to find so many. How had she done it?

“I was expecting much more equality. What am I complaining about, it makes the ranking much simpler. In any case, I think the audience appreciated it. Let's take a look at a few selected excerpts, shall we? First of all, Kelly and Violet, you were together for this event. Can you describe what happened?” asked the host.

“Violet and I appeared in the desert. Since I trust her completely and didn't want to wander around a desert on my own, I suggested we search together. When we found the first statuette, I suggested that Violet take them all. I thought it would be more advantageous for us to be first and last than for us to share the statuettes equally. After that, if you want to know how we managed to find so many, you'll have to ask Violet - she was almost always the one to notice them every time,” declared Kelly.

“I've always been good at hunting for Easter eggs, although these weren't chocolate eggs and this isn't Easter. By the way, is Easter also celebrated in the desert? Easter was originally a Christian festival, wasn't it? And does it come from the Middle East? Well, the Middle East is a desert, so yes, Easter must be celebrated in a desert,” declared Violet, earning appalled looks from the entire assembly.

“Okay, everyone's got it. Let's focus for a moment on Jeanne and Felicity, who managed to find all the statuettes hidden in their areas. Quite frankly, I didn't think you'd manage to find them all, especially given the places I'd hidden them,” Nola exclaimed.

“You hid them underwater! How could you think we'd find them?” exclaimed Jeanne.

“You did find them, though,” replied the hostess.

“Yes, but that was only because I thought to look in the worst place you could have hidden them” replied the catgirl, not hiding her annoyance.

“All this to say that this image was greatly appreciated by the audience” said Nola.

Sophia couldn't help wondering how they managed to film them constantly from every angle. Of course, she knew the answer would probably be 'magic', but that didn't explain anything. She refrained from asking the question out loud, not wanting to look like an idiot.

“Nola, please stop bothering him, I'm sure you don't want to fall behind,” intervened Arthur.

“You're right, we've got to keep going. Let's move on to Lisa, you've managed to find 8 statuettes and come third. Are you happy?” asked the Leprechaun.

“Please tell me what I have to do to save the last 33 species? a third of animal biodiversity lost forever. Lisa exclaimed, sounding genuinely ****.

Sophia had a little trouble understanding the problem, since she was a pure product of the city who had never seen a chicken anywhere but on her plate.

“It wasn't really planned, but I guess if you fuck Arthur here and now, we can discuss it,” Nola offered, shocking the whole assembly.

The answer that followed probably surprised even more.

“Okay, why not?” replied Lisa, who quickly began to undress until she was completely naked.

Before anyone had time to speak, Lisa stepped in front of Arthur and asked:

“Are you going to hurry up? I don't have to beg on bended knee, do I?”

Arthur was so shocked that he couldn't articulate a coherent response. It was Iris who came to his rescue.

“I don't think it's that Lisa,” said Iris, looking away.

“What is it then? Maybe I'm not attractive enough? Too green for his taste?” asked the nurse, clearly irritated at wasting so much time.

“It's not that, I think, he's probably embarrassed and doesn't really know how to react. Besides, I don't think he wants to have sex in front of everyone.” explained Kelly while Arthur was still too shocked to react.

“So what should I do? Should I slap him to get him to react?” exclaimed the nurse.

“I'd advise against that, if only to avoid his enmity, or at least to avoid being punished by our dearest hostess” commented Jeanne.

It was at this point that Arthur finally came to his senses.

“Uh Lisa I'm very flattered and I understand how important this is to you but...”

“Stop right there before I get angry. You're going to come up with some lame excuse of your own that I don't want to hear. If even getting naked and practically begging you isn't enough, then I still want to preserve what little dignity I have left. Just answer yes or no, can I convince you?” interrupted Lisa.

Arthur seemed to hesitate before sighing and lowering his eyes.

“No, sorry.”

“Save your apologies for all the species you're abandoning. I wonder how you sleep at night. You disgust me. You've got the easiest position in the whole thing and you still manage to do shit. It's pathetic,” says the dryad.

No one said a word for almost 3 minutes, but after that Nola had exhausted her patience and spoke again.

“And we continue with the ranking, Susan you were in the same zone as Lisa. Do you have any comments on your performance?” asked the hostess.

The vampire, whose clothes were stained with silt and mud, replied soberly.

“I have no comment.

“Ok let's continue quickly with Iris and Lily, do you regret your choice to divide the statuettes equally when you see that Kelly and Violet's choice allowed them to acquire first place?” asked Nola.

“No regrets,” replied the bunnygirl.

“We had a great time together and that's the most important thing,” replied the teacher.

“Oh intra-harem bonding how beautiful, I'd almost dwell on it if we weren't pressed for time. Frankly, though, there's not much to say about the performances of Tammy, Elizabeth, Sophia and Victoria. Please make an effort to entertain the audience, otherwise I'll have to get creative,” says Nola.

The threat made the whole assembly shudder. No one wanted the Leprechaun to get more involved.

“As for the VPs affected by this result, Violet you gain 5 VPs, Felicity you gain 3 VPs and Lisa you gain 1 VP. Conversely, Kelly loses 4 VP and Susan loses 2 VP. Remember, if you drop below 0 VP, you're guaranteed elimination,” says the hostess with a smile.

“I'm going to be generous and let you make suggestions. The transformation proposed to the audience will either be based on the desire you express or on the desire expressed by the Master. I'm not talking about a specific idea. I'm talking about a direction, an axis, a keyword. I'll leave you to think about it and listen to your proposals tomorrow morning.
