He falls silent, something you've grown fairly used to. He is much like you--quiet, responsible, cool--and you expected him to react this way. Instead, you pull away and gaze back up the dark sky and the beautiful moon through the glow of the ethereal petals clinging to the branches.

What possibly possessed you to say such a thing? What made you reveal yourself? It seems foolish now that you've done it and if you were anyone else, you might have been embarrassed by his rejection. Things like emotions have always been a problem, things you've tried so very desperately to hide away, to eschew because they had no place, but you were hoping for a moment where it didn't matter who or what you were. You know, however, that you can't expect Senbonzakura to take your responsibility from you. What right do you have? What room exists for such weakness?

You say nothing, though the message is clear. You have no intentions on pursuing it any longer and, after a moment's hesitation, you step and walk towards the 'exit'.

You aren't displeased and you intended for that, even if it was a tad icier than you planned, to be revealed in your departure. You simply understood that you were not being yourself, that you crossed the line and your spirit needs his own time to understand what is going on.
