So ends the reign of King Bryce of Itheria. Dead at the hands of an assassin. The Assassin Sera was found covered with blood as she attempts to hide the evidence of her deed and was quickly imprisoned and executed for her crimes. Despondent at the turn of events, King Claudius sent The King's Entourage home with the most lavish gifts as he did not want this turn of events to damage his relations with Itheria.

The Kingdom of Itheria fell into dismay. The King's Guard returned home and brought the terrible news of their liege's **** with them.The vassals and lords of the realm quickly turned against each other. Every person with an army attempted to claim the empty throne and Itheria fell into civil war.

A couple of months after King Bryce's ****, Lady Victoria received news that upset her entire life. It seemed that her rendezvous with the old King has resulted in her being pregnant with his child. She told her father who punished her in a fit of rage and disinherited her.However, after he had time to calm down, Count Erwyn brought the matter before the council. There were several accounts of King Bryce flirting with Lady Victoria and at least a few people observing them both leaving after court. Therefore, for the good of the realm which was gripped in a violent civil war and with a little help from Count Erwyn's influence. Her unborn child was legitimized and she was brought to the capital to name her as regent per the customs and traditions of Itheria once the child was born. She stayed in the castle for the duration of her pregnancy until she gave birth to the new King or Queen of Itheria.

This move brokered an uneasy truce among the nobles and vassals of the realm, but bad feelings and broken hearts still remain and new grudges have emerged.
