The suggestion was more than a little tempting. She had been feeling pent up all day, perhaps because of her nerves about her upcoming new job. Once she had gotten in from her walk her first thought had been to use her fingers (and maybe a bedpost) to relieve her stress, but she didn't want David to catch her. The last thing she wanted was for him to think she'd lain in bed and rubbed herself silly while he was out working hard all day.

Instead, she had practically crossed her legs the whole time she'd been making dinner, and threatened herself with ice showers if she couldn't keep her mind out of the gutter.

Despite all that, she really didn't want to be late for work, and she knew that even a quickie could set her back going to bed by at least 40 minutes. Not to mention that she felt sleepy right then, but that feeling would definitely go away if she got on top of or beneath her boyfriend.

"I would love to David," she admitted in a low sigh, "but I don't think it's a good idea tonight."

David's shoulders slumped, even as he tried to look understanding, prompting Jenna to stroke his ego a little.
"I have an early start tomorrow, and I can't have you keeping me up for hours like the insatiable beast you are."

Her boyfriend's disappointed waned at that comment, a wry smile replacing his disheartened frown. "Well, when you put it like that," he laughed, taking her hand and giving her a smooch on the cheek.

"But tomorrow night," Jenna continued, "I'll show you how a working girl does it." She sealed her comment with a salacious wink, which honestly probably didn't help either of them to reduce their arousal. Wishing him goodnight one last time, she finally straightened up and went to the bathroom. In only a few minutes, she completed her nightly routine and put her head down to go to bed, the quiet and surprisingly soothing sounds of David resuming the show filtering through the bedroom wall to her.

She had expected that she would find it hard to sleep, with so much to worry about and so many urges left unsatisfied, but to her surprise she found her eyelids growing immovably heavy in just a few minutes. The last thought to briefly twinkle in front of her mind before slumber took her, was what was her first day going to be like?
