The Condiment wizard kept gathering clouds for the next hour while Nora kept her virgil over the roof of the tower, making sure no one else disturbed her master. Sadily for Nora, that wasn't possible, as the device blinking on Zataana was an emergency beacon to the Justice League, a branch of the Justice League dedicated to fighting magical threats, and several of their members were already on their way.

So it was that when the Condiment wizard had just added a cloud head to his cloud body made out of combination red and yellow clouds that the Justice League dark members would appear on the roof. In a flash of light, a symbol of an Ankh suddenly appeared in the center of the roof. Out of it came the heroes wonder woman, Etrigan, and finally Dr. Fate. Etrigan and Dr. Fate immediately charged Condiment Wizard, who turned to face them and immediately began blasting hails of mustard and Ketchup lighting.

Etrigan tried to tank both the hail and the lighting to get in close in personal but kept getting **** back by the **** behind the hail. Meanwhile, Dr. Fate tried to knock out the Condiment wizard by launching light spell after light spell, sending what seemed to be unending rays of light, but Condiment wizards lighting countered that, causing violent flashes as the Ketchup lighting and the Ankh light met in the sky above the tower. So the two heroes and condiment wizard found themselves in a stalemate as the spells flew back and forth.

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman made her way over to the imprisoned Batman and **** Zatanna, who were watched over by Nora, who, in response to her approach, let out constant barrages of fire from her freeze gun to keep Wonder Woman at bay, though it wasn't working all that well as Wonder Woman's shield took most of the hits. Nora adjusted her aim, trying to aim for her limbs, but Wonder Woman proved too nimble, as she seems to move in two directions at once, causing Nora to have a hard time hitting her to make matters even worse for Nora. Batman took that opportunity to activate a device in his utility belt that shattered the ice, imprisoning him, and proceeded to leap at her, joining the battle.

With Nora having to face both Batman and Wonder Woman, her fall was inevitable; luckily for Condiment Wizard, her earlier failure caused her to fight with a verocity that kept the two heroes busy as she just refused to go down. Meanwhile, Etrigan and Dr. Fate were still trying to close in on Condiment Wizard, who was only keeping them at bay due to the fact his new cloudhead fired both Ketchup lighting from its eyes and a barrage of Mustard hail from its mouth. This increased rate of fire helped him immensely in the battle against the two.

Though the battle eventually turned even further against Condiment Wizard as Nora was finally defeated by a well-place attack from both Batman and Wonder Woman, allowing the two to add their might to the others, and despite his best efforts, Condiment Wizard could not keep them back any longer as he had to keep switching focus between the four heroes, eventually allowing Batman to keep his word and get close and proceed to beat him ****.

With the Condiment wizard knocked out, his cloud vanished as the magic needed to maintain them was no longer provided. With the danger dealt with, the heroes began to gather Zatanna and the rest of those in the tower who were in need of medical treatment, finding Dr. Young frozen as they went and luckily being able to safely bring her out of her icy prison.

The heroes took all the injured to the medical ward of Arkum Asylum. Once they were all settled, Wonder Woman turned to Batman and asked the question that had been bothering her. "So Batman, how exactly did such a powerful wizard get up to such mischief in your backyard?" Wonder Woman asked as she knew how great Batman's paranoia was and that it would be next to impossible to perform such a thing as Condiment Wizard had in Arkam Asylum under his watch.

Batman gave her one of his legendary dark states before answering. "There was an incident a couple weeks ago causing several of Gotham's top crime bosses to become nervous and rather trigger happy. While I was dealing with that, it appears the Condiment wizard was setting his plans into motion." Batman stated with an even voice. Wonder Woman nodded her understanding and went back to watching the news and her own islands reaction to what had happened, hoping it wasn't too bad as their hatred of wizards was great ever since that visit from Faust all those years ago.

Though the heroes were happy they had saved the day and nobody had died while they were doing it, they weren't happy as part of the fallout from the event at the tower. There was now video from news choppers who had been circling Arkum since the bat jet was spotted heading to Arkum Asylum. So there was now footage of them having trouble with a magical user called the Condiment Wizard, which was never good PR, as well as the fact that no doubt any future villains might want to recruit such a powerful magic user for their plots with such footage of his might as he took on no less than four leaguers with a fifth visibly ****.

As the different heroes watched the news and monitored how different groups reacted to the incident at Arkum Asylum as best they could, nobody noticed the red sparks flowing through Zatanna, causing her to wake for a moment. "retsaM evres I" Zatanna said quietly in her backwards tongue before falling back to sleep, the red sparks disappearing shortly after. None would know of the true changes the battle at the tower had caused and what the future held because of them.
