You would think Ruby would have learned her lesson. That she would leave her lapse of judgement in the past and report Cinder to the authorities, knowing that she was likely a criminal. But as stated previously, the bond between two futanari sex partners is special.

Ruby felt haunted for several days by the thought of Cinder. Clutching her pillow in the dead of night, Ruby wished it was Cinder she could cling to. She pleaded in her heart to hold Cinder once again. Is justice what Ruby really wanted? Was it worth betraying her futa lover? How much damage could they possibly do if she didn't snitch? What was in it for her? A pat on the back?

All these burning questions were only the tip of the iceberg where it came to Ruby's concern. Buried underneath all of that was the first worry she had after her fling with Cinder- what if they get pregnant? Yang offers Ruby a hug. Ruby squeezes her, knowing she had one way out of her predicament. Ruby had to speak with Cinder again. Later that day, Mercury and Emerald were announced to be the first doubles match of the Vytal tournament. Ruby knew that she could bump into Cinder if she hung around the colosseum.

If she could just open a dialogue over what transpired in the toilet, maybe she could get her priorities straight. But what was she going to say?! "Hey Cinder, are you pregnant with my love child? By the way, my sister thinks I shouldn't tell anyone about you without your permission, despite the fact you are a criminal (probably)."

Ruby did not get the chance to think through what she would say to Cinder. As she approached Amity colosseum transport, Cinder emerged from a vehicle returning from Amity colosseum. Ruby's heart skipped a beat.

The world collapsed in on itself toward her event horizon. Time bent into a singularity, replaying Ruby's past in her present and manifesting shadows of every fear she had for the future. Cinder wore the same outfit they had on the day they embraced. It was like mere seconds had passed since their last encounter.

Ruby couldn't handle it. She couldn't speak to Cinder face to face. Ruby's body froze in place until cowardice won over her. She ran away from Cinder before they made eye contact.

History was repeating itself. Ruby's weakness was Cinder. They returned to the safety of their dorm.
