Do you agree to a search?
No
...and the choice was to stand our ground.
“Get your hands away from me, filthy goblins!”, I exclaimed as one of them grabbed a bag next to my saddle.
“Stand back!”, Korant shouted as he jumped off his horse and grabbed the goblin.
The small creature panicked.
“Guards, guards!”, it shrieked. “Apprehend these miscreants!”
Two large orcs, clearly mercenaries, jumped on either side of Korant. Even a veteran such as him could not handle the brutish strength of two orcs at the same time. Seconds later, he was on the ground with one of the orcs on top of him. The other one turned towards me. I saw an excitement in his eyes, a primal one, enough to make me nervous.
“Wait, wait, I surr... Aaargh!”
It was my turn to shriek as the orc grabbed me out of my saddle and threw me on his shoulder. I was terrified, so much so that I did not protest for fear of what could happen!
As the orc was taking me away, I saw the dwarves dying of laughter in their ram-drawn cart. Unlike us, they happily agreed to be searched by the goblins. Perhaps I should’ve done so, too?
