Alice pulled up to Scott's parents' house and rung the doorbell. Scott's father opened the door and saw Alice.

"Hi, Alice, nice seeing you in clothes for once," the man scoffed.

Alice bristled at this but continued on her quest. "Hello, Mr. A," she chirped, "is Scott home?"

"No," Mr. A responded, "we've only seen him once when we kicked him out, and that was for Mother's Day a few months ago. Why, is he not at yours?"

"No, sir," Alice started worrying, "and I'm afraid that the twister will come to Scraggly Brook. I want to pick him up and get him back to safety at my place."

"Well, it's four right now," Mr. A told her, "so it seems you have an hour to get him before the tornadoes start touching down."

"Fantastic, thank you Mr. A!" Alice ran to her car to drive to Scraggly Brook.
