Chapter 3
by Chunger
Will you explore?
No
You decide to head back up to the top of the ship. If the ship wants you to go into the room labeled “Lower Deck”, they’d let you know. It’s best to respect their wishes, especially since they are giving you such cheap passage. You emerge from the steps and seek out your friends. You see Sam and Rosie side by side looking over the edge of the ship. You join them and listen to what they say. Samantha is talking about how fun it is to be out in the slaty air of the sea, and a Rosie speaks of how fun, yet still informative and interesting the historical aspect is. The group stands quietly for a minute or two, before Rosie interrupts the silence.
“Look at all those oars. The only thing that’s moving this ship. No sail, no motors, nothing but the hard work of rowing. I wonder if they actually have people to work the oars or if it’s all automated. I kind of want to go down there and see how everything works. That would be so cool. You know what? I will go down there. And I think it will be fun. Do you guys want to come with?” Rosie prompts.
“I appreciate the offer, but for as much as you enjoy history, it’s just not my cup of tea. I’ll probably stay on deck and see what there is to do.”
Rosie turns to look at you.
“How about you, do you want to come with me?”
Will you go down with Rosie or stay on the deck with Sam?
A Trip to the Galley
A vacation gone horribly wrong
While on vacation with some girlfriends in Greece, you find a galley ship trip that appears to be much better than all others, albeit a little off the beaten track. However, once you board for passage, you soon learn that this ship is not at all as it seems.
