A Trip to the Galley

The group of three boarded the ship and the the ramp was lifted onto the ship. The three girls were enjoying a week in Greece during the summer break between their Sophomore and Junior years at college. The group could not be any more different. Samantha is a 5’ 11” brunette who is dangerous and risky. She’s scandalous and flirty, and even raunchy at times. Arisu is a Japanese student whose parents wanted her to learn English by attending an American university. At only 5’3”, she is highly trusting, gullible, and naïve. Rosie is a 5’6” blonde who is ever curious about the world around her, and always loves to learn new things. She is by far the smartest of the three, while Samantha is the most impulsive and Arisu is the most sincere. Your group of three arrived in Kalamata after taking Ethniki Odos 82 from your day in Sparta. You, at the pleas and requests of Rosie, set out in search for a galley ship voyage, however, the lowest price you could find was €175, and the ship was pretty shabby. Then, while searching online, you found an advertisement based off of your recent cache and search history for a very nice, stable, reliable looking ship for “as low as €35”. Your group decided to take the 20 or so minute down to just the outskirts south of Avia. The location of the dock was a little difficult to find, but eventually your group arrived. You didn’t see very many passengers, only 5 men and 2 women waiting. As you waited to board the plank, the sailor in charge of prices looked your group over and said
“€30 each for passage. Round trip.”
You hand’t realized that there would be a destination, and the price was even lower than the ad suggested, but you readily grabbed your handbag. You could have sworn you saw the gentleman ahead of you pay at least €100, likely much more. Maybe this kind sailor was being nice to 3 lovely ladies! You board the ship and the plank is raised.
