No catastrophe yet, between Zack and Ashley

Zack couldn't quite believe his own eyes as he looked back into Ashley's pale blue. He'd always found her both friendly and attractive of course, ever since they first came to know each other through Brandon, but he'd never really considered her out of a more sexual perspective before.

She was already having a steady relationship with one of his best friends after all, and was usually more lively and appearing a bit childish, at least when compared to the more enticing girls she used to hang around with - like Heather, or her own sister Hannah, who'd more often than not played a major part in Zachary's wet dreams ever since he first started having them.

Now that they were suddenly alone together, with her beautiful face just a few inches away from his own, he couldn't help but realize just how much she'd come to resemble her older sister in just about every way. Sure enough, she wasn't quite as curvaceous or radiating the same kind of purely sexual vibes, but that lustful look in her eyes was definitively the same as he'd always found so alluring about Hannah.

"Kiss me!" She seemed to beg of him, with those soft lips so close to his own, and her blue eyes sparkling with barely restrained passion. It would be such an easy and natural thing to do at that moment, but still he hesitated as he knew full well that it wouldn't be right to either one of them.

His hand seemed to have moved on it's own however, as he suddenly found it resting around the girl's slender waist, while she in turn responded by leaning even closer to his face until their lips and noses were actually gracing each other's.

"She's just so damn hot right now...!" Zachary could barely breathe as he could feel Ashley's warm breath on his own, and for a split second he nearly drowned in those beautiful blue eyes. Then suddenly something caught his attention from the corner of his eye, and he could feel his own body tensing up as he realized there was someone else coming up the path to the place they were sitting at.

"What...?" Ashley asked him, and pulled back in surprise as it seemed like the spell was finally broken. The two of them were suddenly blushing as they parted, and he could see how she followed his glance back towards the path.

"Brandon...?" She whispered, just barely loud enough for even Zack to hear her, while she too came to freeze in shock. It was difficult to tell what her boyfriend had actually seen them doing together, but from the slight scowl on his face as he approached it was obvious he wasn't quite comfortable with finding his girlfriend with another guy's arm around her waist.

"Uh, sorry...!" Zack managed a brief smile at the cute blonde, while carefully letting her go, and could only hope that Brandon would put all the blame on him rather than on Ashley. He wasn't quite sure anymore how it actually started, or about Ashley's real intentions when she asked him to join her on the bench, but right now he could only think of the possible tragedy if all this became the cause of his two friends breaking up from one another.

"No, I'm the one who's sorry!" Ashley just laughed at him however, and before he knew it she'd given him a quick peck on the cheek, before launching herself from her seat to meet up with Brandon. It was a strange conclusion to an even stranger beginning, and from the glance she gave him over her shoulder he wasn't so sure that this would be the last time they found each other in a similar situation...

Brandon seemed fairly content with having his beloved back in his arms at least, and even seemed a bit grateful as he shared a quick look with Zack. This too was a reason for surprise, but hardly couldn't make the young man any more confused than he already was.

"Heather told me it's about time for dinner." The other guy told them eventually, when all three of them started heading back down the path again, and caused Zack to realize one possible reason for his apparent relief. If Ashley was up here with Zack, then at least she wasn't getting hit on by Heather's cousin.

"Does that mean he's been on his own with Vicky or Chloe for all this time...?!" The thought passed unbidden through the young man's head, and caused him to hurry them up back towards the cabin...
