Chapter 36 by robyna robyna

So, does he ask her out?

No. Let's go after the prettier girls

Matt had promised he'd help Cindi break into the popular girls circle but that didn't mean he had to date her. Although she had prettied up some, she still didn't compare with Tanya or Natasha. Hell, even his sister was a lot hotter than Cindi.

"Look," he said, "I hope I haven't been leading you on. Right now, I'm trying to pass my classes and not get beaten up by the football punks. Dating isn't in my program. Besides, I have no money, no car, no driver's license. Any way you look at it, I'm a bad dating risk."

"Yeah, sure." Cindi looked like she was taking this pretty well... and Matt wasn't sure how that made him feel. "I just wanted to know where we stood. So, friends?"

"Sure, friends."

As he trudged to trig class, he had a feeling that hadn't gone as well as it could have.

On to trig?
