No, why would things be calm?

While cutting up wood and sending it to your storage, you get the feeling your being watched, keeping it calm you make a routine of checking the surroundings every so often, till finally you spot the monster watching you, or rather, a bit of them. A canine ear and a side of a soft fleshy face, from the bit of the tag you can read through the bush, they are lvl 4.

Playing it off as if you hadn't noticed them you continue to work, gathering lumber before finally growing a bit tired of waiting for the strike, you decide to risk it, leaving yourself open while you swing you shift just enough to dodge the attack as it come rolling on your tail just in time to dodge the small creature's attack, and you rotate around as she spins readying to leap again. Noting amusedly, that she is wearing nothing but a collar woth a broken chain on it.

"Well now, being jumped by an adorable little one." You say shifting your gaze around. Wolfs rarely hunted alone, but you didn't sense another. This however didn't stop her as she leapt for you again growling and you dodge her strike just barely. "Now hold on deary. It'll only end badly for one of us." You manage to say before she leaps again, this time you catch her and struggle to keep her claws from tearing into you as you tussle, the fight ending with you both rolling away from one another and her stomach growling quite loudly. "Well now. That does explain a bit. Your hungry." You say raising up and looking over her.

'She's dirty, naked, and hungry. A broken chain on her collar would state she was a ****... Broken free? Her hunger is probably driving her... Poor thing.' Bringing out a piece of meat you offer it towards her. "Here, eat. It'll do no good for you to collapse of hunger against me." Watching her she eyes the meat then growls at you and you roll your eyes. "Its not poisoned. Here. Watch." You bite the meat and chew it slowly, preferring your food cooked you are not beyond the eating of raw food. Then after swallowing it up you set the rest of the meat down on a rock and shift back picking up some more lumber as you return to work, keeping an eye on her as she slowly approaches, ever so tentatively, then snags up the meat backing away several feet to devour it hungrily. You smile softly and pull out another setting it down on the rock again as you set back to work, this time, when she grabs it, she doesn't move away, instead, watching you closely as you work and nibbles slower this time.

"The name is Alina by the way." You say still chopping as she finishes the meat looking up to you. "Still hungry?" She shakes her head. "Gonna attack me again?" She shakes her head. "Good, your name from the stature above your head says your name is Anna?" She nods. "Its nice to meet you Anna. You from around here?" She shakes her head. "Your a good girl. Just misunderstood and a little ****. You attacked out of hunger. And i think you don't quite know if you can trust me or not." You say turning to look at her fully before tossing the axe aside and lowering down onto your coils.

"I'll be blunt. I am curious about you, and where you come from, but, i will respect your wishes should you chose not to tell me anything. Now, as for your hunger issues. Im going to guess you have no pack?" A solemn nod from her. "Then that settles it. You will join my family. My home." You shoot out the invite and smile. "I'll provide you safety. Security. Food. And love. I'll ask that you help out but, a smart and skilled good girl like yourself can definitely provide aid."

You watch as she looks at the invite then looks up to you again before looking back at it.

"I only offer this as a friend. You're welcome to leave any time should you feel home with me isn't working. I hope you don't ever feel tha-" caught off guard for a moment you look to her as she hits accept and pounces into you and you wrap your arms around her softly and pet her. "There there, welcome to your new home." You lift her in your arms and pick up the axe hiding it away in your inventory while you head back towards the house, Anna in your arms. "I should warn you. I have another ally, she may be a bit intimidating. But I don't think she's too scary."

You reach the house just as Eiadris does coming to a stop as she spots the small anna in your arms. "I'm not sure what to say here." She says looking to her. "She's cute. You adopting her?"

"Yes. She's part of our family. And we will take care of her. And she will help.us. if you have an arg-"

"No argument. She's cute. And wolf blood are useful for hunting. And in time I'm sure we'll make her stronger."

"And here I was worried you wouldn't like her."

"I am tough, not heartless. Besides. If I'm going to be working for you. I'd best befriend those that I'll work along side. Where will she sleep?"

"I'll have to designate a spot. But for now the dorm area. It has plenty of rooms." Carrying her to the room you select for her you set her down, designating a spot for sleeping, a small wool blanket and bed made for her, you retire to your room stopping by to see Eiadris maintaining her gear, with a smile you return to your room coiling up in the large bed happily to sleep the night.
