Chapter 71

Do you have anything in mind?
No, we can just hang out out.
You inhale deeply and pick up the lingering scent of breakfast. You exhale and glance at your member as it becomes soft. “How about we just hang out for a bit? I’ll walk to work, and we can just take the rest of the day easy?”
Delilah swallows and sits up, suddenly becoming bashful about her appearance. She covers her breasts with one arm and then her honey pot. “Perhaps we should take a shower first?”
You grin slightly, and she blushes. “A normal shower.”
Despite Delilah requesting a regular shower, you still take several suggestive passes at each other. You do end up admiring Delilah’s nude body as she cleans herself.
Delilah already ate, but you both banter with each other while snacking in your conversing. The subjects brought up are lackluster, but it draws your relationship finely as all you do is talk and cuddle with each other on her couch, which was so crudely used earlier that morning.
When you finally get around to leaving, it is snowing again, putting Delilah in an unfortunate mood. The winter weather is preventing her from achieving maximum happiness. However, she maintains her smile and whatever pleasure she does have since she’s talking to you.
When you arrive at Tiny’s Tavern, you see that the lobby has a few visitors inside. Manning, the counter from the morning shift, is a girl with a blonde double when she sees you coming in with Delilah. She narrows her eyes slightly before rolling them. Delilah exhales loudly through her nose before she turns to face you. She thanks you for everything you’ve done. Even though you tell her not to worry about it, she promises to make it up somehow.
As Delilah and her coworker exchange “pleasures,” you stick around for a few seconds to linger.
You weren’t exactly expecting to see anything outside of the ordinary at the tavern, so when you saw Scarlet sitting no more than 6 feet away from you eating breakfast, it caused you to have a heart attack.
Scarlet winked at you and smirked. Her appearance is playful but also evil. “That your girlfriend? Shame, I was starting to like you.”
“Scarlet,” you say, hiding all panic. “What are you doing here?”
The girl slides you an envelope, and you open it. It’s cash. About 500 dollars, actually. “Payment for your hard work the last time we were together.”
“I’d hardly call it hard,” you finger through the money, finding it to be new print and stiff. “But, I’ll gladly take it if no strings are attached.”
She expands her arms out like she’s gesturing for a hug. “My outfit pays well. Even for the easiest of contracts,” her eyes go to Delilah, and her smile straightens while her eyes go cold. “Money has a way of touching people.”
Every word rolls off Scarlet’s tongue like there’s supposed to be more than what she’s saying, but she leaves you hanging for you to piece together what is missing. Arabella, Mikko, Gwendolion…And now Delilah is in harm's way. Or at least it is confirmed she is. Scarlet adjusts in her seat and then leans forward. “I’d like to take you out for another contract if you’re good for it.”
What do you tell Scarlet?
