A year and nine months later:

Angelus stood before the statue of Acathla, glaring at the human woman who dared to interrupt his demonic ceremony.

"No weapons, no friends, no hope. Take all that away, and what's left?" he asked.

"Just me," said the woman known as Faith Lehane. "Now are we going to fight now or are we just going to chat about it all day?"

"But I just said..." Angelus started to said.

"Yes, I know what you just said," said Faith. "And that speech would work just fine... if I were Kendra. But I'm not so let's do this."

"But I have the advantage here," said Angelus.

"No, you don't," said Faith. "I've killed vamps before and S and D aren't here to back you up so the odds against you surviving this fight aren't looking that good. Plus I wasn't emotionally attached to you like Kendra was so tough luck there, buddy."

"Tough luck yourself, Faith," said a voice behind her. "The odds don't exactly favor you either."

Faith turned around and sure enough, she saw standing behind her a naked Buffy Summers who was holding a long sharp sword in her hand.

"Geez, B," said Faith. "Again with the nudity? It's starting to get old."

"What's the matter, Faith?" asked Buffy as she quietly aimed her sword without making the slightest effort to conceal her naked breasts and pubes. "Too distracting for you?"

"Not really," said Faith. "But I kinda miss the days when you fought me and Kendra with your clothes on."

"Hey, relax, Faith," said Buffy as she bared her fangs. "It's just a little nudity. It's not like it's the end of the world."
