Getting home, you see Mark had already gotten home, and things were BAD!

Not only could you hear Mark yelling from outside, with neighbors watching from a distance, but the house itself showed damage in the form of two broken windows and a curtain being torn down to show a partly trashed dining room.

This was worse than anything you expected. You turn to face Lisa, and tell her, “I’m glad I packed my stuff in the trunk before we left!”

Going forwards you reach the door and open it, revealing there was actual damage to the walls in addition to furniture being strewn around the place. The large TV was on the ground, smashed, as were other things.

Thinking quickly you turn the TV off at the wall, and then do the same for the rest of the damaged appliances.

Mark sees you and Lisa, and yells at you “AND WHERE WERE BOTH OF YOU WHILE THIS WAS HAPPENING?” The anger he felt was almost physical, and you could see it scared Lisa.

You glare at him “Getting me clothing and essentials. From what they were saying about hocking off Lisa’s heirloom jewelry for **** money, among other things, Lisa was just about ready to help them kill each other. If she stayed there might be three corpses here in addition to a mess!

“Now, you can keep me here while yelling for everyone to hear, or you can let me go and make sure where is no damage we have to take measures to protect ourselves against!”

He glared at you and nodded for you and Lisa start to leave.

However, there is a knock on the open front door.
