Ed decided to go out and celebrate on his own, he liked the guys but he wanted all the limelight and ladies to himself.

That night he walked past the queue outside his favorite nightclub to the main door dressed in expensive designer gear which if not tasteful was certainly expensive. There was a ripple of excitement as he passed the little people in the queue, a few of the guys resenting their girlfriends delight at seeing him while others insisted on boring their girlfriends about how they'd seen him score the winning goal today.

The doorman waved him in and the manager soon came to greet him, other guests were asked to move so he could have a VIP area to himself. He ordered a drink and it wasn't long before the braver people in the club came over to talk to him.
