After a few moments of searching, Gilia sighs. "I think this is pretty much it for the damn house," she mutters. "The bastard must've taken my clothes and stuff somewhere else."

"Maybe he traded them," Buttercup offers helpfully.

"Maybe." Just as Gilia's about to say something else, though, she freezes. She can hear a noise from outside - the sound of running feet, moving incredibly fast and getting louder very quickly.

Buttercup's face goes pale. "Shit! It's Dick!" she yelps. Before Gilia can stop her, she turns on her heel and vanishes in a puff of petals.

Gilia curses and casts around herself for some kind of way to evade or defeat her captor. _No weapon...not strong enough...no clothes...gods dammit! Why did I want to be an adventurer?! _She looks at Monkey. "Can you fight?!"

Monkey bares his teeth. Sharp, but not really weapons per se. Gilia despairs.

"Ok, ok," she mutters. "The only option is...maybe..." She bites her lip, then hurries down the hallway to her captor's bedroom. Monkey flits along behind her, and as she gets into the room she hisses, "You! Hide!" The little creature seems confused at first; then understanding dawns and it darts away to curl under the wardrobe. Gilia hurls herself onto the bed, arranging herself as best she can into a seductive, sensual pose reclining on top of its cover. Just as she finishes, she hears the door below creak open.
