Niles

"Ahem" Niles faked clearing his throat rather loudly, hoping to wake either of the naked duo. Neither woke. "Oh, come on." He tapped both on the shoulder in quick succession.

"Hey!" Siobhan responded. "Fuck off with those stone-cold hands of yours." H merely groaned.

"I would've left you both here until you woke up on your own, had it not been for something important you need to see."

"What do mean? Something wrong with the take?" H asked as Siobhan got off him.

"No, it's not the take, although it seems we took just under what we wanted. The problem lies with Nikkie."

"What? Is she hurt?" H before coming to a more direct realization. "Is she here?"

Siobhan immediately caught on. "Oh shit." H started to get dressed, Siobhan didn't bother.

Niles went over to the nearest and largest screen, pressed a few things on the keyboard and changing the screen to a paused news feed. "As soon as I saw it I knew I had to wake you, I didn't watch the whole thing so I'm not aware of the details."

"Just start it already." Siobhan liked to watch the footage their exploits, it could help her relive the moment and the adrenaline. H didn't get the same rush from watching it again but knew Siobhan did, so he would sometimes put one up on a date night.

The video showed the wreckage of derelict cruise ship the team had blown up as a distraction. The reporters voice soon followed.

"Earlier today 'The Star Sailer' a cruise ship returning to its home dock was stuck with terror when a derelict ship that had been towed in the day before suddenly exploded in the neighboring dock. While authorities were attempting to get the situation under control the 'The Star Sailer' was boarded by three currently unknown criminals."

The video feed changed to show two blurry pictures of H, Siobhan and Niles in cloaks going down a corridor both ways, the second one had them carrying carts of their stolen credits, Siobhan now had a splatter of blood on her cloak. Niles gave H an obvious look of disapproval, H didn't care. Messing with the cameras remotely always had a chance of failure, and thankfully these seemed to be the best pictures they got, blurry, hidden in cloaks, and with the emergency lighting further hiding their faces they might as well be free. "Ah they didn't get my good side." H joked. Siobhan let out a short chuckle.

"Keep watching." Niles said without any humor.

"The three infiltrated, the onboard casino. As they were loading the Casinos credit storage a security guard went to intercept the thieves. Tragically Dave Irkson was killed by the bandits." H said nothing but was still annoyed reporter didn't mention how shaky the guard was while holding the gun to Siobhan's head, there was no good solution to that encounter. "After loading their carts with the passenger's credits, they made their way to an airlock they found to be both hacked and later blown up as they made their escape."

A picture of the team's current ship appeared. "Dammit we got to find a new ship now." Siobhan groaned. She didn't want to think of the security guard, thinking about ships was far easier. She didn't want people to die, but people can be unpredictable in perceived danger. Any attempts at trying to relive this mission would not end well.

"A chase followed, the pilot of the thieves recklessly flew around trying to lose their pursuers. Right as a ship spear had been prepped and aimed a jump-gate opened causing allowing the bandits to escape. Upon investigating the jump-gate two conspirators were discovered."

"Two?" H asked? "We weren't working with anyone else..."

"She didn't..." Siobhan added knowing who Nikkie is.

The video feed changed to show Nikkie's lizard like form being arrested, naked with censor bars covering her genitals. A human male was also being arrested, in the same state of nudity.

"She did. That fucking slut. No wonder it took her so long to activate the gate." Siobhan exclaimed, as she paused the program. "Shit now we have to go help her, before blurts out everything."

"Not exactly we could just lay low, Nikkie won't betray us." Niles responded. "Either way you need to hear this next part. Niles fast forwarded the video.

The naked man Nikkie had been "working with" was screaming all sorts of nonsense. He was cursing out his ex-wife, his brother, his boss, his coworkers, the government. Seemed he was down on his luck, and now he was being arrested for helping in one of the biggest crimes of the decade, or more. But what was really important came at the end. "You *beep* pigs, I'd let them go again then put up another moment with any of you again." In the background Nikkies face read of fear and confusion, H didn't buy that.

H finally spoke. "Nikkie is playing his anger at society for her benefit. Okay I have an idea it might not work, but it's the only option."

"Or we leave her there and hope she can find a way out on her own." Niles said.

"We can't do that... " H jutted back with uncertainty. "Siobhan, what do we do?"
