Nightlife - Richard invites the old man to checkout the cruise nightlife.

“Say,” Richard said to the old man next to him. “Why don’t we take our minds off this sorrow for the night? We could head out and see what sort of trouble we can get into on this ship!”

The old man waved his hands. “Naw, you go. I’m too old and tired to even pretend to enjoy what the young’uns do. I’ll have a far better time swimming in my drink.”

“Come on, captain, I’m sure this ship has a more enjoyable alternative,” Richard reasoned.

“I’m an old codger, and stubborn to boot,” the grizzled seafarer stated. “Now, you’ve cheered me up plenty by listening to my story. Thank you! How about you let me buy you another drink and then I’ll turn myself in for the night.”

Richard agreed and they shared another glass together. As they enjoyed the ambrosia, Richard told the elderly man about his wife, Aria. He seemed pleased to hear about Richard’s loving relationship and urged him to appreciate what he had before they parted ways.

Richard left the bar as well. He decided to check out the nightlife without the old man. There were dance parties, performances, movies and some party game styled competitions going on. In retrospect, none of these seemed like something an elderly gentleman would be into. Richard started to wonder how that old coot got a ticket to this cruise in the first place. He looked over his activity options one more time. It reminded him that Aria had made up an itinerary before they boarded of things they could do together. He probably should find out where she is and how she is doing.

Richard returned to their cabin and called out, “Aria? Are you here? I thought we could check out some of the activities together…”

The husband looked around the room. It was like a hotel suite with a living space and the bedroom in the back. There was a wide open glass wall overlooking the waters and a pathway that was on the other side. There was a convenient privacy drape to hide themselves from curious pedestrians. The bedroom had a large bed that faced a wall mounted flat screen. There was another connecting door that led to the bathroom. Inside that, there was a walk-in shower and a tub, along with the usual washroom amenities. Aria was nowhere in the cabin. He checked around to see if she had left a note or even returned since they last split up. Her luggage was there but that was from when they dropped it off earlier. Other than that, there was no sign that she was in the room.

Having no idea where to look for his wife, Richard decided to check out the nightlife solo. He didn’t feel like dancing without his wife and going to a theater felt mundane when they were on an international cruise ship. That left a performance show or competition. He turned on the television and it automatically played the cruise channel, which showed current shows and games. There was a magic show that looked interesting, a synchronized swimming performance, wet t-shirt contest and a no limit poker competition. Richard did a double take. Wet t-shirt competition? He scrolled over to it to open up the details. Apparently the cruise was very open about sexuality, which would explain the lack of children. He could actually watch the live feed of the contest right now, too!

There was a line of girls on a stage with a crowd of onlookers cheering them on. The girls were in bikini bottoms and short sleeved white shirts with exposed midriffs. One of the girls was called up and she stepped forward.

Music played and she danced to it, shaking her hips and fondling her body. As she grinded her hips into the air, a shower of water rained down on her, soaking her body and the white t-shirt. The cotton fabric clung to her contours, becoming transparent enough to see her brown skin underneath. She continued to dance through all this, bouncing her ass as she kneeled to the ground. The crowd ate it up, hooting and hollering.

“Thank you, Denise!” the MC said. The girl got up and bowed before returning to the lineup. “Next up, let’s welcome Aria!”

Richard’s eyes widened as he saw his wife step to the center of the stage. She was in a skimpy thong and the same white T-shirt!
