Chapter 3 by The-Drunken-Bandit The-Drunken-Bandit

Where do you look?

Nickelodeon

Weird, crazy, and outright nutty are just a few of the words that you use to describe Nickelodeon or at least Nickelodeon back when you were a kid.

You say this because Nickelodeon has recently fallen far from grace, this is mainly due to the corporate meddling of the execs back at Nick, who stupidly decided to double down on their already established shows. Which unfortunately caused many of the shows to run far past their expiration date and as a result stifled any new growth in the channels cartoon lineup, which has unfortunately **** the channel into a series of never-ending live-action TV shows that are rather mixed…

I mean some are good, but some are just… Awful.

Regardless of this, it seems the archive at least has a collection of the greatest hits Nickelodeon produced back during its heyday in animation. You immediately spot three of the best cartoons that the network produced back during its Golden age and immediately pulled them up.

1. Danny Phantom: _He’s a Phantom! _Hehehe! Man, you love this show when it came out back in 2004, it was one of your all-time favorites growing up. It was perhaps one of the best classical examples of the superhero show you can think of as it was filled with over-the-top villains, comedy, and action in spades. It’s definitely worth a rewatch.

2. Avatar the last Airbender: Air, Earth, Water, and Fire, these four elements define the very world of Avatar, and it shows wonderfully throughout the entire artwork at the show. This show was perhaps the ultimate product that Nickelodeon ever produced in its Golden age, and even today it still has a huge fanbase that’s still completely dedicated to the show even though it’s over. Even though you watch the show thousands of times, you can’t help but want to watch it one more time.

3. Fairly odd parents: This show was one of the few shows that Nickelodeon decided to double down on and as a result, it extended far past the point where it should’ve ended. You can’t help feel sorry for Dan Hartman the creator of the show as he tried his best to make the show retain the same magic it originally had when It first started out but due to the corporate meddling of the execs who were constantly wishy-washy about renewing seasons he could never really permanently plan anything out and was unfortunately **** to make seasons that always seemed like they were the end of the show. However, the tragedy in corporate exec meddling doesn’t end there as the Nickelodeon corporate execs often **** Hartman to inject characters into the show that never belonged there in the first place, this especially showed toward the end of the show. It’s a real damn tragedy of cartoon animation, still, the show is entertaining, and it has many memorable and fantastic characters. So many in fact that you’re willing to get the show one last view before you put it away.

#: look elsewhere.
