Danny Phantom

It might be nice to see Danny tangle with the spooks and specters that haunt his hometown one more time.

So with a quick click of your remote you are greeted with the sight of a simple selection menu that all dvd box sets have, but with that said you notice something rather odd about this menu as there is a strange option at the very bottom of the screen that says "Character selection." So, out of curiosity you click on the new menu option and are greeted with a strange street fighter like selection screen that contains all the characters of the show on it.

At first, you’re not exactly sure what to make of this in a part of you thinks that this may be possibly some form of lore background selection or a possible collection of the best episodes containing the characters in question.

So not knowing what to expect you quickly single at three characters of interest from the haunted town of Amityville.

1. Maddie Fenton: the sexy bad ass mama of Danny Phantom himself. Maddie is a brilliant scientist and a pretty good fighter when it comes to combating ghosts, that said after growing up a little you often question how in the hell did, she stay married to Jack? No offense but Jack is… Jack is an idiot, a egotistical ghost obsessed idiot that often endangers his own family on a daily basis. Needless to say once you got older and became an adult you could honestly say that Maddie deserve a lot better than Jack and you even speculated the only reason that she stayed with Jack was for their equal love of ghost hunting and for the sake of their kids that she loved deeply. Actually, now you think about it Jack kinda acts like Reed Richards at times with how much he ignores Maddie, hell he even forgot their wedding anniversary over 18 years in a row. Which is pretty damn bad and again it makes a loop back around to ask why the hell is Maddie still married to the guy?

2. Kitty: the ghost biker girlfriend to Johnny 13, Kitty is an overall decent person for the most part. However, she has her own problems, those problems all coalesced into her boyfriend who is a rampant womanizer and cheater that drives her up the wall with his unfaithfulness. How you remember that episode where she damn near wiped out all the men in Amity Park for Johnny 13’s womanizing ways and was only stopped by Danny’s mom, sister, and in denial Gothic girlfriend. It is unknown how Kitty died but many have speculated that she died with Johnny in a horrific motorcycle accident that killed the two lovers one night while they were out on a date.

3. Desiree: now here’s a sad story. Desiree is a powerful wish granting ghost can grow in power with every wish she grants, that said everywhere she grants is double-edged and will grant you exactly what you wish for, just not the way you intended. However, the true tragedy to this character comes from her past. Most ghost’s pasts are unknown for the most part, but you know Desiree’s past and it is truly a sad one. Desiree was once a beautiful harem girl to a sultan during a time that is now long since forgotten, she was the sultans favorite and most well liked of his harem. Much to his wife’s distaste as she envied and hated Desiree with a burning passion and eventually decided one night to get rid of her in a way that is not directly described but certainly implied to be horrific. You really don’t want to bring up the details as most of them are rather disturbing and unsightly, but you remember the endpoint of all of this of where desiree slowly died in a back alley forgotten, alone, and cold as she cursed the men who did this to her and the bitch who made it so as she made one final wish to find a way to get **** on those who wronged her. I wish that came true as she became a malevolent genie ghost who twisted the wishes she granted to punish the living, particularly men, for the pain she suffered in life.
